4 reasons why 8-bit is better:

Theres not a million other instruments burying the beautiful melody we all love

Old doesnt mean worst, after being remixed again and again, the song loses it touch that made us love it and WANT to remix it

8-bit music is simple thus easy to learn for people wanting to make their own version of it (on a flute, piano, etc) can learn it by ear with more ease than a remixed version

It has this nostalgic feeling that reminds you of all those good childhood memories
