@olimond Actually I disagree, my belief is that the GBA fire emblems were the best (6-8) and having played all of them I say 7 is best. Message me if you want to know how to get roy's game, fe6 (for free! You can on a cell phone like me or computer)
Theres not a million other instruments burying the beautiful melody we all love
Old doesnt mean worst, after being remixed again and again, the song loses it touch that made us love it and WANT to remix it
8-bit music is simple thus easy to learn for people wanting to make their own version of it (on a flute, piano, etc) can learn it by ear with more ease than a remixed version
It has this nostalgic feeling that reminds you of all those good childhood memories
great song. I don't understand how anyone can say this is equal, or even better to the newer versions though. This sounds more like something I'd hear at a karaoke than a rousing and epic theme.
such an epic track... :')

0:20 - 0:26 You can hear Marth, Roy and Ike's victory theme/fanfare in Melee/Brawl

@artmaster500 That's because it's part of the main theme of Fire Emblem. :)

wow even old songs is still cool although I haven't played this cous I'm still a baby back then ^^
riekotz 1 year ago
@riekotz You've meant "I was", not "I'm", because it causes the impression that you're still a baby. xD

4 reasons why 8-bit is better:
Theres not a million other instruments burying the beautiful melody we all love
Old doesnt mean worst, after being remixed again and again, the song loses it touch that made us love it and WANT to remix it
8-bit music is simple thus easy to learn for people wanting to make their own version of it (on a flute, piano, etc) can learn it by ear with more ease than a remixed version

And to think...
This excellent series had been created almost 20 years ago...
And it all began with this theme song... :)
Fire Emblem has certainly come a long way as a series. I hope many more games will be released in the years to come...

Long live the Fire Emblem theme. I felt Brawl didn't do it ANY justice. This is the best version. :D

The Brawl one is the best version to date.

For some reason, it doesn't sound inferior to the newer versions.

@5978888 just consider it equivalent to original Super Mario Brothers theme but more awesome because it's Fire Emblem ;)

why do all the 8-bit songs sound better lol. i guess it just gives u that feeling that u know that the game is good enough to be around that long
godhand1001 3 years ago 11
Nostalgia maybe? or is it just that NES and SNES era was too awsome to be forgotten.
atokad11 3 years ago 8
@atokad11 hard tho say, we just find the 8-bit enjoyable, though, I admit that the DS versions sounds more epic
