just tried playing this game, and it sucks. Looks nice, but with no documentation on what exactly the 3 action buttons do (I only managed to figure out that button 1 is for selecting plays, throwing the ball, handing it off, etc, and the other 2 are for changing the play at the line or the player controlled for defense). One of the buttons does a spin move with the player who's got the ball, and there's really not much else you can do running the ball. Play selection on defense is really limited
This game plays on the Mame arcade emulator. Also here is a PRO-TIP: Always pick Run Defense for all plays. Why? Because most of the the time the CPU only does short passes so it is much easier for interceptions. With pass plays, if the CPU does a running play it is an instant first down. For offense if you are doing running plays make sure you stay close the out of bounds in case a fumble is forced. Love this game
looks like how facebreaker will play when it's released, thanks for the upload, looks cool, i like the markers showing where the plays will go... too bad this never made this to a home system... looks like it would have been fun...
The Japanese have also made a lot of turds in the football department.
Outside of Tecmo Bowl, the best Football games have been made by Americans. And most Americans DO want a sim-like game. However, Madden has only had one season so far since 98 where it could be called a decent simulation of the sport, and some 2K Football games in the past certainly qualify. It just so happens that those games sold through the roof.
If you want Arcade football, play Backyard FB, Blitz or Madden Arcade.
I was being sarcastic about Backyard Football, since I have a hard time taking seriously the thinking of preferring Arcade over sim. I'm not sure I'd classify TSB as Arcade either. For its time it was as sim as you could get for console football games with all the stat tracking and such.
please help NEED rushing rom mame hero of demen Help me the link of the game

After seeing NFL Football on the SNES and now this, I don't think Konami even knows what football is.

Weird, I didn't even know this game existed. The defensive camera angle is horrible, it works a little better in Run 'n Gun.

This game looks so cool. The Japanese make football the games the way they should be: fast and exciting, not some overly deep sim.
I can't get this running on emu, tho :(

I've now played Rushing Heroes extensively, and its amazing. With an NFL license this would have been an all-time classic.
So for Arcade football, I'll play Rushing Heroes or TSB, and forget you even mentioned shit like Backyard Football.

Bizarre! Run and Gun was kind of good, but it's all very jarring and uncomfortable to play from that perspective, I don't care what the sport is!
