He made a lot of changes including cancelling Toonami, making CN Real, the new shit logo, and importing Canadian cartoons from Teletoon. You probably know of one, Total Drama Island. Cartoon Network went through a bit of a rough patch. But it is AWESOME NOW. You can't be a true fan of cartoons if you don't appreciate the new shows on cartoon network. The Comedy is hilarious and the action is grade A.

My ten year old niece enjoys the classic and retro cartoons that my sister and me grew up watching as kids. Cartoons like THE FLINSTONES, THE JETSONS ,THE SMURFS, LOONE TUNES, POPEYE, YOGI BEAR, PENELOPE PITSTOP, DASTARDLY & MUTTLEY, WACKY RACES, etc. and she didn't watch these toons when they first aired, she wasn't even born yet. My sister and I weren't even born when most of these cartoons were on. She's seen the cartoons on CN and she doesn't watch them cuz she finds them stupid.
Be a little optimistic my friends. Maybe the newtwork executives at CARTOON NETWORK will get the message and go back to the old format. And the reason I say this is because I remember in 2005 CBS FM 101.1, New York's most popular rock station suddenly went off the air and was replaced by an unimpressive pitiful 101.1 JACK F.M. that played only hard rock. But in the summer of 2007 CBS FM came back to the airwaves by popular demand. Maybe CARTOON NETWORK can do the same.

Samples is the reason Genndy Tartakovsky and Craig McCraken are famous. Stuart Snyder... well he just polishes Canada's crap until it gleams in broad daylight. @CommanderThunderush I remember that terror scare in the Boston subway. When a group of kids were trying promote a new tv show for CARTOON NETWORK and the lights in the subway ceased temporarily. The passengers in the subway thought it was a terrorist attack, when in fact a cartoon character appeared on the screen and held up it's hand gave the middle finger. How could something that stupid and crass happen? The incident occured in January 2007.

Turns out they had mounted LED displays with black box covers that "looked" like bombs. If somebody had OK'd it with Boston, they could've save evereyone some trouble and Turner $2 million. I did my research on the event for a snarky rant project in the process. I even upgraded to Sony Vegas because Live Movie Maker lacks flashier effects.

My ten year old niece enjoys the classic and retro cartoons that my sister and me grew up watching as kids. Cartoons like THE FLINSTONES, THE JETSONS ,THE SMURFS, LOONE TUNES, POPEYE, YOGI BEAR, PENELOPE PITSTOP, DASTARDLY & MUTTLEY, WACKY RACES, etc. and she didn't watch these toons when they first aired, she wasn't even born yet. My sister and I weren't even born when most of these cartoons were on. She's seen the cartoons on CN and she doesn't watch them cuz she finds them stupid.

Be a little optimistic my friends. Maybe the newtwork executives at CARTOON NETWORK will get the message and go back to the old format. And the reason I say this is because I remember in 2005 CBS FM 101.1, New York's most popular rock station suddenly went off the air and was replaced by an unimpressive pitiful 101.1 JACK F.M. that played only hard rock. But in the summer of 2007 CBS FM came back to the airwaves by popular demand. Maybe CARTOON NETWORK can do the same.

@67nairb I wouldn't say he trashes it as much as he trips over it. He's kinda new age, so he's concentrated on image and revenue. He's flashy and doesn't take the time to listen to fan input. Toonami even asked for viewer input once. CN just has a Contact US section on the website, probably sorted and ignored for the most part. If someone humiliated him, he might change his ways.

@67nairb Jim Samples. He quit after Aqua Teen Hunger Force promos got mistaken as bombs in downtown Boston. The city got PO'd at the network and had a heyday, and the embarassment made Turner spit up $2 million to make them pipe down. It would've been smarter just to hold an event instead. Samples is the reason Genndy Tartakovsky and Craig McCraken are famous. Stuart Snyder... well he just polishes Canada's crap until it gleams in broad daylight. Sorry to sound hateful, but it's my opinion.

@CommanderThunderush I remember that terror scare in the Boston subway. When a group of kids were trying promote a new tv show for CARTOON NETWORK and the lights in the subway ceased temporarily. The passengers in the subway thought it was a terrorist attack, when in fact a cartoon character appeared on the screen and held up it's hand gave the middle finger. How could something that stupid and crass happen? The incident occured in January 2007.

@67nairb Those wingnuts never got a permit from the city of Boston. Naturally, nobody knew what they were doing, so of course, it made them call the cops. Turns out they had mounted LED displays with black box covers that "looked" like bombs. If somebody had OK'd it with Boston, they could've save evereyone some trouble and Turner $2 million. I did my research on the event for a snarky rant project in the process. I even upgraded to Sony Vegas because Live Movie Maker lacks flashier effects.

@67nairb When Toonami got booted, so did the crew who worked for it. Stuart Snyder has a background at CINAR, where it's basically live-action work, located in Montreal, Canada, and he was president. He was so good at the job, I guess he decided to morph CN into his old workplace so he'd get familar and comfortable. That equals live-action TV and Canadian television to make the boss happy. Selfish punk.

I mean, there's not much we can do. I'm sure they know these shows suck.. But they care about MONEY. Matter of fact, they're starting to put fucking commercials inside 11 min clips. Why? Because they want more money about how much they can charge for commercial airings. Shows come on for 3- 5 mins and they show commercials for as long as they are allowed.

Cartoon Network sucks nowadays. most of there shows r so lame: Chowder, Johnny Test, Flap Jack, Adventure Time, n so on. they play reality shows on a network thats suppose to be for cartoons. They used to have AWESOME shows for Cartoon Network,Camp Lazlo, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Dexter's Laboratory, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, yeah..But now they have bullshit shows like Regular Show, Hero108,And they even got rid of the on demand shows for the good stuff! The last remaining good show was Chowder, but now they got rid of THAT too. And they ruined Total Drama Island, which was a good show until World Tour, and Season 4 won't have ANY coming back characters! CN sucks dick right now.

You had classic Bugs Bunny Cartoons from the 60s or whatever, classic Tom & Jerry toons (not the Tom and Jerry Tales crap), you had newer modern shows called the Cartoon Cartoons (PowerPuff Girls, Dexter, etc...), and you had anime action cartoons thanks to Toonami. Man, it was like Cartoon HEAVEN
