  • I believe this music is on the voyager spacecraft, which is now over 11 billion miles from us and leaving the solar system!

  • This quartet is sublime beyond description.

  • Tonight is one of the greatest nights of all time, i started listening to some of all this beethoven here on youtube, and the first one i clicked on was this part from the tv series Band Of Brothers and i find the hole record, and it was awesome! I was so moved that i cried. It's the greatest music i have ever heard.

  • One of beethoven's finest moments!

  • Thanks for the information !!

Of the present version of op. 130 (the one on YouTube) I

couldn't find mvt. 6, the one with which Ludwig replaced the original final Grosse Fuge. Do you have it?

  • No, sorry. Well, I do have it, but I my computer hasn't had sound for a while, which probably has something to do with that. If I ever get my sound to work, I'll let you know, but it is there (and a better version) at cocoa classical; great performances--actually the whole beethoven box set of quartets are there(in chronological order), but which aren't as quintessentially modern as the late quartets.

  • Where is the information about the performance ?????

    Who is playing ????

  • The Vegh Quartet. Sorry, I chickened out on displaying who played it, which came from my 1973 recording of their performance on the offset chance that it might be removed for copyright. If you want a better (or more precise emotionally) performance emotionally than you can get it FREE. Google: cocoa classical, then got to the site. Top corner search engine: type Beethoven (it will ask you to register; it's free and quick). Go Beethoven's tracks, and click on page 6 (opus 127-135)

  • the last great work

  • This whole piece in it's combination of simple and complex expression, of the popular and the experimental almost, is one of his most ambitious pieces.

  • 1st movement , adagio ma non troppo, allegro, rich in contrasts in which two motifs alternate with a wide range of combinations, long live ludwig van

  • que genio

    mas grande
