CKLW used to play a live version this song, Marc Jordan’s “From Nowhere to This Town.” faster tempo. where can that live version be found? was it on an album?
that marc jordan album is a classic......... all he needed was jay graydon and it was a pleasure they found each other........... like the kenny rogers album that jay was on and produced......... worth catching.................. jc
Great tune from Marc Jordan's 1979 "Blue Desert". Amazing background vocals on the whole album and on this tune too!. Very nice little guitar solos on this song. Is it Graydon or is it Steve Lukather, does anybody know? I started writing down this song to play it with a little westcoast band I am trying to form. Very nice to see it posted here on Youtube!
Lead guitar: Jay Graydon. Rhythm guitar: Steve Lukather. Bass: Abe Laboriel. Drums: Jeff Porcaro. Keys: Michael Omartian. Background vocals: Bill Champlin, Bobby Kimball, Tom Kelly.
The whole album is produced by Graydon. Great album.
