  • SWEET!!!!

  • HOW MANY HOURS INVESTED?

  • @D0cTerG0nZ0

I'm not sure actually. I did this over days I had time. Never really tracked my hours to be honest. I'd think if I did not include drying time of paint I would estimate about 8 hours of labor.

  • @BuddyClubGardening THANKS AND BEST DRUM SMOKER HOW TO VID ON YOUTUBE!!!

  • I have one without a removable lid. How do I get the lid off if I wanna use it for the smoker lid when i'm done?

  • Nice build! We've been competing with drum smokers for 2 years now and have been quite happy. One lesson learned the hard way... the pipe nipples will rust! So on the last few drums we've built, we only used one for the ball valve. The other holes we cover with magnets. Works great and no more scrambling for a pair of channel locks when on of the caps is rusted to the nipple!

  • the smoker looks great , but i don't understand why three vent holes on the bottom when you cap two off and just use one

  • @1376thom

The three with caps are the main air intakes. The last one with the valve is used for fine tuning and allowing "just a bit" of air into the chamber.

  • That's tidy work. Looking forward to the next video.

    Best Wishes, Brendan.

  • @baconsoda Great work looks good! I didnt quit put that much work into mine because I like the term Ugly Drum Smoker! The only issue with mine is controlling the temp. I hope you have a good cook and look forward to more vids.
