Good to hear from you. Can you get him to view my videos or call? I'd be happy to do a free telephone assessment of his situation with him. Best, George
I admire the work you do - as a daughter of a man with porn addiction (among other paraphilias) - it's comforting to know some men are honest about it. I'm currently watching him fall into self-ruin. My mom is about to divorce him and I have a feeling he's going to lose his job soon. Unfortunately - he works with computers, so the temptation is always in front of him.
@JimRKO Good to hear from you. You're right. Porn WILL destroy your life. Send me an email and I'll forward you the first two chapters of my new book. That will help. Best, George

Speaking of Seinfeld. There is an episode where George (Costanza) stops having sex with his girlfriend and starts becoming very smart and pursuing newfound interests. Jerry explains that the 90% of his brain previously occupied with sex thoughts is now free for productive thinking. It's done for comedy but it really seems to parallel with what George (Collins) is saying.
Po'n is an addickshun. As a neurobiologist, ah knows thet. Healthy sexuality ackivates sartin brain areas. Po'n addickshun ackivates others. Namely them thet is engaged in all addickshuns, be these alcoholism, cocain, heroin, nicotine, et cetera. Chareeckeristics of enny addickshun: it isolates, epeekoolyars, costs money, is bad fo' yer health, indooces lyin', destroys families, traumatizes wives an' chillun. Jest say no.
He said "yada yada" because Mr. Collins said it in the video, so he was quoting him. "Yada yada" is a sex-related meme from an old Seinfeld episode, so it's kind of funny.
Yes, you must be more relentless than your addict. I would recommend dialogue work. Act-as-if you could talk to addict by doing what appears to be a "movie script." A bad movie. YOU make it a GOOD movie. YOU convince addict that he's out-of-date....a worn out painful coping strategy that is no longer useful. Process every emotion THIS way and you'll get powerful results. Email the dialogue to me. I'll answer you personally if you email me though our website contact form. Best, George
yada yada? I believe that I probably touched a "nerve" in you. One of the reasons that these clips are posted is to get folks to feel. You wouldn't have responded unless you felt something. Nourish that feeling and let it grow...then email me again. I'm happy to be of help in any way that I can. Best to you, George
I am seeing a Counselor, I will try the journal aswell thanks for the video, I hope you don't mind if I upload this video onto my channel, if you do I will remove it, but I think the more people talk about it, the better the way to bet it. One of the driving factors is the hiding and then the lying.
Good to hear from you. You might like to read "The Power of Now" (Tolle). We assign this book to our telephone clients and is quite a help. You actually get to SEE how mind lives in reaction to it's history and how to stop that. Being in the NOW inhibits regressive sexual thinking. Give it a try and let me know. George
Thanks for your comments. Yes. BE proactive. Go after "it." Clearing the debris of sex addiction is NOT passive work. Why don't you actually try and dialogue with your "addict?" Dialoguing is a modality that I often use in my practice here at Compulsion Solutions. SEE what happens. Best, George
