Born in the South as a white man I've been around a lot of racism. It amazes me how Obama is able to keep a mature attitude given the prejudice displayed from both sides of the fence. His speech really struck a chord with me. I'm finding it difficult to ignore ownership with the issue of race. I know it isn't likely worth much;however, I want to offer my apology for past actions. God bless the African American population for their struggle toward true equality. I'm willing to change Obama.

Thanks for the response. People have a tendency to judge at a glimpse. For instance, at first I thought your I.D. choice ended with an obscenity. A closer look reveled the term funk. I'm hoping that people will take a second look regarding the race issue, and also take another look at Obama. Some of Wright's views are merited and some are not. Preachers are somewhat zealous. The congregation has to keep them balanced by displaying the appropriate feedback. God bless.
