With matt being kicked out, I'm not being funny, but have you not seen the photos of him performing sexual acts?! He was kicked out last March, and although these photos only surfaced in December, I'm pretty sure they would have kicked him out because of them if he was still a member. They are a clean cut band so wouldn't want pictures of Matt being naughty following them around. I love Matt, but what a way to damge your reputation...

The TBS line up for their album "Tell all your friends" was the best in my opinion. That is still their best CD.From what I hear,Adam is sort of tough to work with because he is kind of crazy.I don't know for sure because I do not personally know the guys,I am just speaking from things I have heard and read from various sources.But being in a band,being around the same guys,day in and day out, for an extended period of time,is probably one of the more difficult things in life to make work
Adam needs to look at his own lyrics & realize that it's about him. To him Taking Back Sunday is his band & he wasn't interested in Fred's ideas. Fred has an incredible singing & writing talent & I feel Adam is jealous of that. Fred is one of the most genuine guys you can meet. He changes his lifestyle to agree with what he believes in...like being a vegan.
Fred doesn't have an evil bone in his body....Adam an egotist & turned Fred's comments into what he wanted to hear.
I liked their first album a lot, and the second and third weren't bad, but this new stuff is terrible. They suck live, which is shitty. Hopefully they can write some decent stuff again with the original line up. I'm guessing they still suck live, but I won't ever pay money to see them ever again. Because I'm pretty sure every single time I have seen them they have been awesome... and thats regardless of which ever guitarist/ back up singer they have. I have seen them with Fred, Fazzi and John and they have all had great chemistry and put on a great show.
New Again was dissapointing. There were a couple songs that would get stuck in your head for a day or so but nothing worth remembering. Here's to hoping they can live up to Tell All your Friends now that all the old pieces are together

now I don't know much about taking back sunday, but when I see some of their live videos, the frontman is an ass, he doesn't sing the songs properly and just shouts at the audience, and in others, it's a kid who sings it correctly, and I'm pretty sure the latter is a new guy. Sorry, but I personally think the band has grown since Fred left. They're amazing still as they were then. Their sound has reverted back to what it used to be. And Fazzi has done a great job of picking up where Fred left off. Plus Adam is the better lyricist. The Color Fred is a joke, I've seen it live. His lyrics are childish at best.

Fred's lyrics aren't 'childish', they may not be the best, but he still knows how to write a good pop-rock song. Not to mention, he contributed loads of great lyrics to TBS (for example, the chorus of 'My Blue Heaven'). Fazzi failed to pick up where Fred left off, and that's why he got kicked out of the band.

Taking Back Sunday deserves to hold their current name. Yeah the lineup has changed a lot but there are consistencies amongst the band which are evident in their albums that make each song you hear recognisable as TBS
The story is way back (like in high school or shortly after) before TBS got their break John Nolan and Jessie Lacey were best friends in a band named Taking Back Sunday. Jessie had a girlfriend and were considered High School sweethearts. His girlfriend ran around on Jessie with John. Jessie left Taking Back Sunday and joined a different band, then made Brand New.
Wrong...it was Johns sister who is in straylight run with him. Jesse was with her, she slept with Adam. Jesse left. John then caught Adam sleeping with another girl on tour and left the band.

Sorry, but I personally think the band has grown since Fred left. They're amazing still as they were then. Their sound has reverted back to what it used to be. And Fazzi has done a great job of picking up where Fred left off. Plus Adam is the better lyricist. The Color Fred is a joke, I've seen it live. His lyrics are childish at best.

Fred's lyrics aren't 'childish', they may not be the best, but he still knows how to write a good pop-rock song. Not to mention, he contributed loads of great lyrics to TBS (for example, the chorus of 'My Blue Heaven'). Fazzi failed to pick up where Fred left off, and that's why he got kicked out of the band.

Not because he couldn't step it up. But I'd trade Fred in for Fazzi any day. And now that John is back, fuck it. No use for Fred at all. If you like Fred then you like Fred, I don't like The Color Fred and never will. And it wasn't for a lack of trying either. It was for a lack of lyrical content. To each their own.

I guess it's personal opinion at the end of the day, and while I agree that some of the lyrics on The Color Fred's album were weak, you should check out his new band Terrible Things, or his old band Breaking Pangagea because both feature better lyrics and better songs.

Taking Back Sunday deserves to hold their current name. Yeah the lineup has changed a lot but there are consistencies amongst the band which are evident in their albums that make each song you hear recognisable as TBS

The story is way back (like in high school or shortly after) before TBS got their break John Nolan and Jessie Lacey were best friends in a band named Taking Back Sunday. Jessie had a girlfriend and were considered High School sweethearts. His girlfriend ran around on Jessie with John. Jessie left Taking Back Sunday and joined a different band, then made Brand New.
