  • It really sickens me that 10 people disliked this. i guess thats ten people who dont care about someone who died saving the lives of two others. So you ten people, from the bottom of my heart FUUUCK you.

  • R.I.P Mike Monsoor

  • MIKE MONSOOR HOOYAH MIKE MONSOOR

  • wow! that's the universal and eternal definition of the ultimate HERO.

he wasn't meant to be here long cause he already mastered the highest lesson and taught it to the rest of us. he got to graduate early and with honors.

  • He saw what needed to be done and he did it... What a brave man.

  • I knew Mike before he went to BUDS......his actions do not surprise me, he is an amazing man and will always be remembered.

  • What a brave man, no words to express this mans sacrifice, thanks US armed forces, men and women taking up the good fight for a free world!

  • true friendship and hero

  • Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

New Living Translation (John 15:13 He is with GOD!

  • I personally have nothing against the Seals, but I think military uniforms are wimps. They hide behind their technological weapons, not fight hand to hand like the Vietcong for example, would not survive long in the Amazon forest or the hills and the slums of rio de janeiro. Very gay, something American! ahahahahah!

  • @MrPaulpriest This isn't the 1970s. Why would anyone use hand to hand combat nowadays unless they had too? lol! All of our special forces are masters of all types of combat, especially navy seals. I guarentee a navy seal could beat your ass and kill you if he wanted with hand to hand combat.

  • @orangeblood307 I'm paying to see!

  • RIP Michael. You died with honor. You made the ultimate sacrifice for your country, your people, and your friends.

  • seen this Vid many times, and i choked up eveytimes !

  • I am a UK firefighter and we have vast repect for our SAS & SBS. A lot of us are ex military and we know there is no comparison between our jobs and SF. This warrior did not have the luxury of time we have to make a choice on life risk. He made a choice to save his brothers, this kind of courage cannot be taught. Anybody making a comment on this man unless it is complete respect should not be here. Michael Monsoor, SEAL, a hero in every sense of the word. Total respect from the UK.

  • wow

  • an american hero now i feel proud he went to my high school all of my respect to Michael

  • i thought it was three

  • Intense.

  • what a great man. my god be with you and your family!

  • Great SEAL, great man. 'Sideshow bob' on this psycologist anyone?

  • RIP Mike.

  • STUD Navy SEAL. They are a hugely proud tradition and I am honored to know a few of them.

  • Speachless. I´m not from the US, but I truly salute and honor what he did. A true hero indeed!

  • that goofy son of a bitch at 2:00 needs a hero to tell him how gaw damn ridiculous he looks and save him

  • HOOYAHHHH

  • Rest in Peace brother.

  • Semper Fi... Death before Dishonor

  • for those 8 people hou dislike this video they must be terrorist :O

  • this video makes me cry man... our soldiers deserve so much respect. I am sorry to his family and am extremely thankful for his service. hooya michael

  • RIp Micheal

  • rest in peace Mikey

  • Any future seals here?

  • It's not dying for your country, it's making some poor son of a bitch die for his.

  • GOD SAVES THE SEAL

  • I love SEALS

  • RIP Soldier, and to all that have died in combat.

  • i read about this and facebooked it. so many people liked it...I can't wait until I'm 22 and I join these guys. If I was in his position, I would have done the same.

  • @SEALboy98 It takes alot to be a seal. Can't just be a teenager with stars in your eyes.

  • @larrythefathead a 10 year old girl would know..? when u research this as much as I have then u can tell me wat i cant be

  • @SEALboy98 Research doesn't make a SEAL. Claiming you can be just as heroic, doesn't make you a hero, and doesn't mean you will ever be one. Claiming you will, for sure, be a SEAL when you're 22, won't get you through training. Because people like Michael Monsoor don't tell others what they do, what they want to do, and what they would do. They just do it. You know, it sounds to me like you just want to be a SEAL so people will recognize you. I may be wrong, though. If I am, good luck!

  • Gently us marines should never run into a jungle trail trapped with mines, sniper or sniper ambush in a mountain dividing the operations into two descent support chopper, and ground support fan spaced 2 to 3 meters per soldier position differed for anddiscover l sandwich enemy camouflage required but very gently trails Bosie's all traps

  • Colonel Robert L. Howard, the most decorated soldier since World War II. The only American service memeber to be recommended for the Medal of Honor 3 times and within a 13 month time span. He received 8 purple hearts and many other awards. If you have never heard of this man you should look him up, another one of Americas great heroes.

  • i heard dick marcinko is one of the best

  • Well Done Young Man... Very Well Done...

Don Shipley BUD/S 131., SEAL Team ONE, SEAL Team TWO.

  • navy seals brotherhood is very close to each other like a real family!!

  • No matter what you think about the politics behind it, if you don't respect this man your a traitor to mankind. I'm not a US citizen but I sure as hell respect the most unselfish act a human can perform. All you left-wing reactionaries: stop deminishing this individuals personal sacrifies and go do something worth mentioning yourselves!

  • All of you need to shut the fuck up and stop arguing about which country is right, who gives a fuck. Both countries are fucked up. Whether you are for or against the war IT DOESNT MATTER, this isnt a POLITICAL ISSUE. This man, knowing he was going to die, gave his life so that other men could live. That is amazing, rare and what makes him a true hero. Talk about THAT!

  • Michael Monsoor = honor, courage, and commitment

  • What do you mean he didn't have business in Iraq? He was doing what his country asked of him, and he will be remembers for it. I understand if you had family or friends hurt in Iraq or something, your hate towards the United States, but if you're just some kid who blindly hates the U.S. you're doing nothing but making a fool of yourself, if you want to do that, don't do it in the remembrance of a hero.

  • The truth of warfare is that the real heroes don't get to come home.

The heroes are not long for this world, God needs them.

    Hero Michael A. Monsoor.

  • "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." - Jesus Christ (John 15:13)

  • HE WAS THEHERO

  • wait, remind me again why you are watching this video?

  • The people he was sniping kill innocent people. Have you read the papers lately? Almost every car bomb is targeting innocent civilians. America invests billions of dollars trying to prevent collateral damage. You have a warped view of the world, my friend.

  • go SEALS!

  • The United States of America did not become the greatest nation in the history of mankind because of our politicians. It was the American military servicemen and women that made us such a great nation. But it is because of our current crop of politicians that we are rapidly on the path of becoming another Somalia before the end of this century.

  • When you put out a fire that is firinging at you and putting your entire countries freedom into jeopardy, then you will be given a medal of honor.

I am in no way saying firemen are not heroes. They save lives everyday. We thank you highly for putting you life on the line everyday.

  • SEALs don't respond to false alarms. Everytime they got out it is life or death, not like when a fireman has a call to respond to a bonfire getting to big at a house party. I mean come on, don't say stupid shit and lie, and disrespect the people who have sacrificed, while people like you sit at home and live in a fantasy world.

  • I don't know who you are- but i am IN the Navy- and it is my goal to become a SEAL. you are simply being naive- soldiers do a very important job- but so do many people. for one thing, farmers and truck drivers are much more important to America's well being then soldiers are- even though they do not risk their lives they do a shitty job that nobody thanks them for, a job that MUST be done- a job that keeps this country running.

  • I am a firefighter as well. I know what you mean drgLAcity. We go into a burning builing knowing for the most part how deal not to mention with all the chiefs on the fireground. This guy epitomizes what every american should strive for. Bless his soul and his family

  • The psychologist needs a haircut.

  • I can honestly say, I couldn't for certain do the things he did. It's not just in the mililtary this happens, it's also in civilian life. I spent a few years as an EMT; got to know some great firefighters, as well as great law enforcement officers. I got to know a few of them, that had that same "bloodline", that I call it. Not to sound like an a**hole, but there are the 1%ers who do things in life; with no second thought. Then there are the rest of us, who can only imagine. That makes a hero.

  • i'd like to say that if i were in monsoor's place i could do the same thing, but i don't know that i could. the man is definitely a hero, and an inspiration to me (i'm going to BUD/s in coronado myself after basic). hooyah

  • Fair winds, and following seas to you.

  • HOOYAH!!!!!!!!!

  • Ooouuurrraaahhh! Navy Seal's you did well

  • I am a firefighter in L.A. and this guy is a real hero! We are chumps. This guy intentionally did this...WOW! I don't think I'd jump on the grenade. Monsoor did the most heroic act I've ever heard of!

  • ummm- FUCK THAT. I am going to BUDS myself in a few months- in hopes of becomming a Navy SEAL. But to be honest- i consider firefighting to be a much more important, and significant job. you guys are ABSOLUTELY no chumps at all, even compared with SEALs, while you may not be as physically fit, or as well trained- you do more for this country then Navy SEALs do.

  • you talk a load of bullshit. dont insult real soldiers by pretending your capapble of something your not you prick.

elite soldiers belive 150% in their parent unit and strive for excellence everyday.

if you dont belive that you'll never complete seal training. not that i belive your even contemplating or have the balls to ever attemp elite military selection.

    DREAMER

  • it was firemen who died in the world trade center saving AMERICAN lives- it is firemen who give their livesevery day, to protect AMERICAN lives here at HOME. Navy SEALs as much as i love them are not nearly as significant to Americas well being as are firemen- the world has survived thousands of years without Navy SEALs- but there have always been firemen- or town watchmen who gave their lives to protect others.

  • It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
  • i agree. that is the soldiers job- and it is just as important as any other vital job- the jobs you listed are nowhere nearly as important as a soldiers job (lawyers, reporters etc.) jobs that ARE as significant as a soldiers job are those of farmers, construction workers, janitors, electricians, etc. these jobs are VITAL to America- or any nation to be able to function. and they are just as important- if not moreso then the soldiers job. Firemen save more AMERICAN lives then SEALs- FACT.

  • XIPM3, then go become a firemen instead of trying out for BUDS and quit bitching.

  • im not bitching- i dont like that the guy put himself down when the job he does is just as patriotic, and just as important as what soldiers do if not moreso. and no- the fireman lifestyle is not for me.

  • About 80-85% of fireman's call are false alarms. And even when they are it's not like every time they are running into the World Trade Center, as you said. Yes that was a brave heroic act, but if you're going to use one example to compare all fireman to one of, if not the most elite fighting force in the world, that is kind of delusional if you ask me. Bottom line is you or I could go into the fire academy tomorrow if we wanted. It's not like it is some high prestige job. Yes, brave but come on.

  • its sometimes the jobs that are not prestigious that are the most important. sometimes- its the shittiest most thankless jobs on the planet, that are the most important. i can't understand for the life of me why you are resorting to insults- its not very mature of you. of course firemen are not as well trained as SEALs- but you know what- they still save American lives every day- i'd be willing to bet they save more lives then Navy SEALs do.

  • Of course Firemen probly save more lives than SEALs a SEALs job is taking lives not saving them. but if it comes down to it as Michael monsoor or Michael Murphy they will sacrifice their lives for their fellow SEALs and country. You can't compare a SEAL to a firemen two completly diffrent jobs and it's 100 times harder to be a SEAL it's not hard to me a firemen. And yes SEALs are as significant to americans their out their hunting terrorist's so another trade center tragedy doesn't occur. idiot

  • why would you call me an idiot? i am not comparing SEALs to firemen- some guy on here left a comment about "how us firemen are chumps compared to SEALs" I simply stated that he was not a chump and that his job was just as important to this country.

  • A firemen's job is important to his country. you were saying a SEAL is not as significant to his country as a firemen. a SEAL is just as significant if not more Firemen are not out fighting terror over sea's to keep us safe so another terrorist attack doens't strike at home. Yes firmen are important in putting out fie's but their not fighting terror like these boys are to keep us safe

  • Shut the fuck up. You're not going to shit. You're a joke. First of all your not going to BUD/s. You sit on youtube all day and watch videos. Trust me future buds attendees and SEALS dont have time to watch 13,000 youtube videos. Secondly no SEAL is going to sit here and say that a fireman's job is more important than what they do? Are you seriously kidding me? If you think that fireman/women do more for this country than SEALS you are seriously out of your mind. Seek professional help.

  • i suppose you are a future BUD/s attendee? I watch videos when I am not training. besides that- i would be a pretty awful SEAL if i was doing the job for the money, the pussy and the glory. to be honest- i hate that SEALs get as much coverage as they do because i would much rather be anonymous. if i wanted people hugging my cock i would have went to hollywood.

  • a true hero who died with honor!!

  • Ability to control emotion? I did that numerous of times. i was scared when someone broke in and i controlled fear and i fought the guy away and saved my brothers life. i work with Fear not against it

  • I cry everynight, honestly, I do. I train so hard, swim. run, pushups, nonstop. This is my life, I pretty much gave up my life to join the SEALs. I'm going right after college this is it. this is my everything or nothing. I die if I don't make it. I want to be the best of the best.

  • i poop on your face!

  • Its not the physical fitness that will get you in buds. Its the cold water temperatures and lack of sleep. This is what makes buds so hard.

  • :O really :O

  • Hudson, I'll let you be the first to try and arrest me. Wear a lot of kevlar.

  • nobody here wants to know u cry, its obvious that u train hard, and with ur attitude i see u passing buds, but dont be puttting up on youtube that you cry, we dont wana hear ur life story. were not agony aunts here. like i said ull probly pass buds since ur single minded at it, but dont be putting personal shit like this up, we dont care if u cry

  • hooyah gearoid

  • you are a dreamer

  • how am I a dreamer... I'm 17 years old, I don't drink or smoke.. I workout everyday, cardio, weight training, pushing myself even further everyday for mentality.. and as my lifestyle as it is.. you don't know jack.. so don't tel me I'm a dreamer

  • DAMNNNN STRAIGHT!!!!!!!

  • Mikey gave the his life for a cause that had nothing to do with country but all about the TEAM... The person in the video stated that normal people that had a trying incident can compare to what Mikey did with saving the other fellow Young Lions on his Team from being killed. Now the guy above me stated some Muslim bullshit that I also said that this guy is a fool.. Nothing can compare to combat and giving all for your fellow warrior... now Muslim faith does not have anything to do with killing.

  • Not the same thing, this guy is a fool.

  • The fuck are you talking about?

Are you calling Mike Monsoor a fool, or someone in the comments?

  • No... I was talking about the guy Therandman... in what he stated above me... just look at his comments... I would not call a fellow Frogman, a fool....

  • My apologies, Amphibian.

  • Not a problem...

  • I wish SOMEONE could shove a grenade up your ass and make in explode. Amphilbian134, your a retard.

  • suck it bitch.

  • Allah Bless him

  • fuck you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You Hate Muslim ? Why ?

  • not all only the fuck up that us americans have to kill...im not going to talk about this on the american heros page...find a diff. vid. to talk on

  • I agree with you... But why says to me kept silent "Fuck You" by posting " Allah Bless him " it is to thank him for his gesture for saving 3 of these companions as well as 3 Iraqi .

  • What the fuck bro...Not all Muslims are terrorists. In fact most aren't. The radical Muslims are the rednecks of the Arab world. He is just saying God bless him.

  • did you not see i said sorry..thinking he was one of the people who did this. i miss understood asshole and yah i fucking know that not all muslims are bad

  • Don't get all defensive on me bro, I was just saying.

  • Do not be ignorant. I am a Christian - but in no way do I feel hatred toward any Muslim. Individuals indoctrinated into radical Islam are mislead and insane. They are the kind which blame others for their own problems - and then take it to a devestating level of violence.

  • Ignore m82a150....he's a dick. Thanks for honoring him.

  • Respect Bro

  • thanks to his parents for raising such a brave kid in this world.a TRUE HERO is mansoor.

  • i'd give just about anything to spit in your face.

you aren't even 1/100 the man Mike Monsoor was.

go jerk off to your Obama "hope" videos.

  • i couldn't of said that any better!!!

    thank you!

  • Live on Michael Monsoor. Hooya!

  • Hooyah. You guys should read the Navy SEAL book called "Lone Survivor" by former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell. It's said to be interesting, thrilling, inspiring, and moving said by many. And so far I agree. I'm only half way through with the book and can already say this is the best book I will have ever read. I haven't read many books(only ones assigned from school) but I know what a great book is and if this is the first one that catches my eyes and keeps it locked. Then that says something.

  • I've already read that book and it's one of my favourite military books!!

I really thought I'm in the firefight with the taliban when I read the passage!!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • less brutal? that what u would look for. soldiers are soldiers. they cant be tamed in anything else until they think they are done there job. he did the right thing. he is a hero. u have no right to say he shoulda had a different carrer

  • i believe that men like this should be awarded at least a day of their own. i know that this man did receive the congressional medal of honor, and he deserved it and more. A true hero

  • Agreed. God bless.

  • Most of those men in the special ops enjoy every second on the job...I'm sure it can be hard at times of course...but they want it...that's why they made it.

  • made me tear up for some reason. I want to die a meaningful death thatd be my dream

  • RIP. Much Respect & Gratitude...

  • i respect him alot, he rather save his mates than saving himself. Respect. Rest in peace.

  • We train for War and fight to win. I stand ready to bring the full spectrum of combat power to bear in order to achieve my mission and the goals established by my Country. Execution of my duties will be swift and violent when required, yet guided by the principle that I serve to defend.

MacdaddyX25 that is from the SEAL creed and yes you do need to kill. I want to be a Navy SEAL too and am going to be become one, no doubt

  • Sure you are gonna be a SEAL xD, lol.. cheers me up.

  • The ones that say "I'm going to TRY become a SEAL when I get out of high school" are more likely to fail that those who say "I am GOING to BECOME one, no doubt" Self coinfidence is the key, you must really want it... There are people who think they want it but for the wrong reasons and all of them fail. You must LOVE the shit to be a SEAL, not just so you can brag about it.

So don't doubt this person unless you really know him, though there are alot of keyboard warriors here in youtube.

  • @StripesReaper I was Australian SAS ,my reason is you have to be good enough,no,if,no,buts

  • for fuck sake it was just a simple question!

  • i wanna be a navy seal....but i dont wanna kill...

is that possible? or is killing really in the navy seal's job description

  • MacdaddyX25, are you serious? Of course SEAL's have to kill (when it is appropriate to do so). It is a Special Operations/Combat Arms wing of the Navy. If you have an issue with bearing arms against another human being, you should look at another service. Coast Guard: their Rescue Swimmers are the SEALs of that service, look into that. No purposeful killing.

  • well hey thanx for your comment homes...

i heard navy corpsmen aint bad right?

i just wanna serve the good ol US of A right and say i did my share in the war.

  • You don't want to be a seal. You just want say you want to be a seal.

  • aww come on.....who doesnt want the status of being a part of one the world's most elite warriors?

are you sir a Navy Seal?

    just asking

  • Macdaddy. Josh is right and so are you. But then agian you are both wrong.SEALs are here to kill, but in a proffesional way. They are also here to protect and uphold the USA. If you dont want to kill, then no SEAL wants a teammate who will hessitate when that time comes to pull the trigger. But really no SEAL wants a fellow SEAL to love to kill a man. I am no SEAL but i want to be, and i am infering this.

  • brothers on the night

  • It bothers me that they're trying to quantify heroism or put a reason behind why some people are brave.

  • I bet that psychologist doesn't know shit about navy training, and he doesn't know shit about the SEALs. R.I.P. Michael, god bless.

  • What words? Michael, hooyah. God Bless this Country and men such as yourself.

  • I'm going to be a SEAL one day. Hooyah Mike. R.I.P Frogman.

Let your fellow warriors take it over from here.

  • I pray for him, his family, and all of those who have aswered the call of duty. Their bravery and heroism will never be forgotten.

  • i smell medal of honor...

  • The Navy seals are superb warriors !!!

  • my dad is a navy seal curently surving in iraq as a sniper he will miss my birth day christmas and his moms burial plz pray for him

    navy seal first class

  • When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.

  • what ever.. his mind isn't programmed to die for his brothers, he knew he would die, he's just a REAL Man with a HUGE heart.

  • There is only one thing to say about him and all other Military heroes and it was said best long ago...

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

    John 15:13

  • i didnt even know anything about this guy (im british so didnt hear anything) but wow what i guy to actually do that. saved to other families the heartache. a Royal Marine did the same thing the other day and saved to of his 'brothers' but he survived luckily.. anyway props to this guy

  • oorah well keep killing all em sand niggers for you

  • He did not "VALUE" his life a little less, he valued it above and beyond anything you morons could ever imagine. HE made sure HIS life was worth something so very few would understand. Talking peanut gallery needs to stand down and shut up.

  • Sally Monsoor, you raised one hell of a man.

  • SEMPER FI MICHAEL

  • God BLESS YOU Rest in PEace!! Heaven holds a special place for that man!!!!

  • Amazing Man but you don't need the word of douche bag psychologists to know he was a hero, especially when they look like crack heads!

  • A real hero! A man of great honor!

  • A REAL HERO, A REAL SOLDIER, A REAL MAN.

  • You mean A REAL HERO, A REAL SAILOR, A REAL MAN!

  • fuckin stud

  • Micheal was a true Warrior in life and now in death!

  • RIP Mike

  • Badkarma You couldn't have said it better

  • The last definition of hero describes all our servicemen and women. May God bless you all and keep you safe. Thank you Michael

  • Ditto BadKarma. Most every man Ive ever met pales in comparison.

  • madd respect for him

  • He was Arab too.

  • i whole heartedly agree badkarma, couldn't have said it better myself.

  • Absolute hero and great human being. Bless the family of this man and may God care for them in his absence. Why are celebrities and professional athletes rich and idolized? They pale in comparison to this man.

  • Nothing can compare to what this man did for his brothers. I too have been in combat situations. You dont think! You React, and his reaction saved 2 lives that day. He also recieved the silver star as well for draging a team mate out of the line of fire when that man was wounded. prior to his death. HOO YAH to all the brothers in the TEAMS
