@jwade94544 ... lol ... I had a few people not believe me when i told them.. it was'nt perfect, but around 20-30 bucks was alot better than the 650 for just painting the fairings.. good luck, let me know how it turns out when you do it..
@jwade94544 Don't remember the brand, but it was a plastic paint that i picked up from lowe's and a clear coast i think was for plastic paints.. just do thin coats of each primer, paint and clear coat, do them each until you have a smooth even paint throughout, just take your time.. I learned my lesson on this project, and had to start over..

dumb question but im knew to the riding scene and i jus wanted to know like is the zx6r and zx6 two different bikes or did u jus not put the r at the end cause its pretty obvious...cause ive seen alot of youtube videos of these bikes and yours looks way diff. then any other 01 zx6r's or whatever idk im assuming there different tho
@calliboi619 It's a zx6 .. If you wanted to get technical, It's Zx6- E ,(e) bieing the model... ZX6r's are racing model ninja's,the base ZX6 like mine is the touring model ninja.

It is a ZX6E made from '93-'01 then ZZR600 '03-'05 under that body style. Then took on the body style of the '00-'02 ZX6r as the new ZZX600. As a Kawi rider when we hear ZX6 we automatically place it as a ZX6r that is why you have all the comments about it not being a ZX6. It's all good and happy to have you as a Kawi rider.

They're called ZX-6E in north america but they changed it to ZZR600 after 2002 I think. Outside north america they have always been called ZZR600, hence the mix up.
