  • You're allowed to ask the cop if he's a real police officer and ask for his ID, only you may get beaten in the process, your better off if he's a fake cop you're in less danger..

  • a wishibeacop lmao...

  • police labels? it comes with it i have one and my car came like that dumb fucking piles of shit

if you aint smart enough to know what a cop car lloookkkksss like then dont drive

    stupid fucking bastards

  • if your retarded you would think this loser is a cop..

  • And WHY did this guy impersonate a cop?

  • ok, know I know not to put police lights on my quad with out a licences

  • the car is not but he had the uniform of the department and this is not a true maker if the person is looking like a cop the first thought is thay are a cop and this is why the man got in trouble he was impersonating a law enforcement officer and this is a felony in every state

  • Sure... Call 911 when you're pulled over. Go ahead and reach for a phone with a cop there and see what happens.

  • How was any of that illegal to have?

  • @chechnya The only illegal part would have been what he was wearing and the lights depending on the areas codes. Here no one (even off duty police, unless you have permission from the cheif/director) can use blue lights in their vehicle. Nothing illegal about a cage, antennas, scanners, or the "Police Interceptor" badge. I know in NY it is illegal to have anything that say "Police" on the vehicle even the "Police Interceptor" badge that comes on them from Ford. All depends on where you are.

  • @bnoland84 It's not illegal to possess blue/red lights, but it is if you use them(turn them on in public) and not authorized to do so. The baseball hat would be the only thing I can think of.. but even then I see a lot of people wearing NYPD shirts so I guess it depends on your location. Texas here.

  • @chechnya

    in california it is

  • @DangerousD6969 Oh okay. That makes sense. I guess it varies by state.

  • coppers won't even let you reach for your phone never mind call 999/911 to check if they're real. if they didn't pull ordinary people over for nothing then have the power to do most anything they want you'd only have to worry if you are a real criminal

  • Must say (like many other people have) The "Police Interceptor" badge is factory on all CVPI cars, Ford actually just labels the CVPI as the Ford Police Interceptor. Its just a model name.

  • Mark, why did you not become a real police officer?

Hope that he did not cause any harm.

  • Damn if only I would have shaved my beard off, I would of been ok :P haha

  • poor markie pooh, 27 years old with a balding cone head.

might want to take some of that fur off his face and glue it on his patchy dome.

  • Need to begin breaking ground on a law to make all LEO duty cars fully marked with light bars on the roof that perform traffic duties. At no time shall an unmarked car with interior warning lamps perform any traffic enforcement duty.

The only notable exception for unmarked cars is Vice, Gang Task Force and Metro/SWAT. The purpose here is to shut down these impersonator nuts and instill confidence in the general public.

  • @RacerXGTO Is that so you can see them when your out street racing? I'm just kidding, I just saw your name. I agree, it would also allow people to notice a marked cruiser and flag them down if they needed to.

  • How did they find out? What if he were more careful and the car was blinking properly? Interesting...

  • All red and blue huh? Funny because around here they run all red in front and blue/red in the back!

  • They said if your not sure then call 911? Shit, you go to use the phone round here they're gonna jerk you out the car and tase you! Lol for real!

  • no steady burning red*

  • In California Law Enforcement:

    1. Will stop you with a red steady light and some have strobing/flashing blues.

    2. In most cases will be marked (not with a Police Interceptor emblem that comes like that from Ford) but with agency stickers on the sides and rear of the vehicle ie: Highway Patrol, Santa Cruz Police, SFPD etc.

    3. In unmarked vehicles they will usually have another marked vehicle pull up to assist, if not then ask them to do so....

    4. Plainclothes, they will have their ID visible

  • did he get life in jail? we can just hope he did

  • The police need to stop using unmarked cars just to give tickets to get your cash !

  • @sn9696 Are you kidding me? You shouldn't be speeding or breaking road laws if you don't want a ticket. There should be MORE unmarked police cars out there taking idiots like you off the road.

  • Throw the book at him. No mercy I don't know what the normal punishment for impersonating an officer is, but when you go to THAT EXTREME length to impersonate a police officer it only hints at the worst possible intentions

  • thats why they shouldnt sell siren lights to the public. maybe the fake cop couldve killed somewon if the cops hadnt busted him before he even thought about it.

  • gotta be a serial killer

  • is it really a rule you can only have a mustache as a cop lol

  • @calloftehviking7 most agencies will allow a mustache to the sides of the mouth. Some will allow a goatee. And generally, if you have a shaving waiver (because of certain skin conditions), you can have a well-groomed, thin beard

  • @calloftehviking7 lol no it'sdepartmental policy. There's no clear and cut way a police officer should look. It's all up to the department and their grooming standards for patrol officers. Usually not long sideburns for officers but again, it's up the the Chief.

  • Police labels??? They come on the car's and they dont take them off when they are sold at the auction, Nothing he did wrong nor is it illegal!

  • I was pulled over by a fake cop i speed up to him and honked his butt up hehe...

  • that man is my hero

  • He's got a sniper rifle too ??

  • "If your still not sure call dispatch to confirm the officers identity"

Yeah, right. Meanwhile the cop (if it's real) is now in pursuit and will tase the fuck out of you if you should ever do this.

Although this is great advice IF the idiot turns out to be a fake cop, it provides NO defense WHATSOEVER if the cop turns out to be legit and thinks even for one second you didn't pull over right away for them.

I've read about people who did this and they got fucked good by cops.

  • It's not that we are "allowed" to ask for the officers ID, it's that they are compelled to present ID to any citizen that requests it. The police work for you and me.

  • @TheHossUSMC You are partially correct, while an officer will show you his id, would you honestly know what a real one looks like? Also remember that the officer also works for himself since he pays all the same taxes that you do. Remember we are not your slaves, and respect gets respect.

  • @CTMotorcop You are correct that there shouldn't be a percieved difference between officer and soveriegn. I would remind you though that while an officer you are entrusted to weild the authority to enforce the law, you are not above the law, and that as you say "respect gets respect"

  • @TheHossUSMC Correct you are. I am entrusted with the law, and at no time will I sit back and watch another officer violate that trust or acts as though he/she does not have to obey the same. I tell people that if you have any doubt that the person truly is a police officer never drop your defenses, dial 911 and verify. No real cop will get upset.

  • the reporter is a dumbass. pd in cali have to have a forward-pointing solid red, if they don't, most likely they're not a cop.

  • lol if you want to be a cop that bad just go to fucking police academy.

  • @GMSamuelRhine true but thats not the point for most people. the have this kind of "lone raner" "bounty hunter" type mindset and they feel like taking the law into their own hands.

  • Ok this news reporter does not know what she is talking about, it is NOT ILLEGAL to own a "Patrol Car". What this man was driving was a formerly used Crown Victoria that clearly still had equipment in it. It is also not illegal to have a partition in the back with plastic seats, a push bar, or lighting. So long as your not using it on a public or county roadway. Also just because the FACTORY LABEL says "Police Interceptor" does NOT automatically make it a Police Vehicle.

  • @wheelman1991 more like he somehow fooled a private company to outfit his car with all the gear and bought all the guns from a gun store. the partition also exists in taxi cabs and stuff. lighting and scanners and emblems are illegal.

  • @hasnachos Living with a Peace Officer, I can tell you for a fact it is NOT Illegal to own such equipment. It must NOT be used in any manner on a public motorway. Ever heard of a group called. "Police Car Owners Of America"? That club is for owners of all types of police vehicles which are outfitted with everything from decals to radios. Private companies will also refuse to sell to any unauthorized buyer. Only government agencies may purchase such things, or licensed security offices.

  • @hasnachos Further more, the logo found on the back of a Ford Crown Victoria POLICE INTERCEPTOR. Is factory install, this reporter said. "Police Emblems". This is not a aftermarket installed item. Ask anyone who has a CVPI and they will tell you the same thing. "In most cases, it comes with the car." Lack of education about what is and what isnt police equipment or how its used or for the matter of owning it is a prime example of...Open mouth, insert foot...

  • @wheelman1991 true that. i havent been stopped once. i have both spotlights and a pushbar with limo tint on my windows and 2 caps on my roof, one with a very short antenna, "interceptor" on the front and "pursuit vehicle" interceptor performance tuning. i wanna buy a scanner but that might be pushing the envelope. what is ur opinion on the scanner?

  • @hasnachos Id say go ahead with it, but you are correct. Dont make it EXACTLY like a patrol car. Other wise you may catch some heat from your local police department. I used to own a CVLX, had everything a unmarked squad car had right down to the antennas on the back, all of them for CB. Even without a push bar and spotlights, cars moved over thinking it was a police car. This is because no one understands what makes a patrol car, a patrol car. Just remember, officers will be watching you.

  • @wheelman1991

I don't think her point was that he put it on the car, I think her point was that it was on the car (even though he didn't put it there), which helped towards making people believe it was a cop car.

  • @Kartkid024 Follow the replies above. If you want to learn something about Crown Vic PI packages.....Just because the department (may have) left the parts on doesnt automaticly make it look like a police car......black and white paint, with faded or worn out attempted to remove logos, make it a look a like.....

  • @hasnachos Go to the search bar, type in. Green Hornet Crown Vic. It should be your first video, this is what you SHOULD NEVER have on your car unless its for security, or just a show car, or a pilot car. ect. Any good Peace Officer will know to look for that exact type of car, and with a push bar your only attracting attention.

  • @wheelman1991 Although you may know that the decorations on the car are not illegal, posing as a cop when you are not is. The upgrades to the car illegal or not don't make a good case for the individual.

  • @minijimi The upgrades on a standard Crown Victoria have nothing to do with what this man was arrested for. He committed a crime by dressing up as a peace officer, and performing acts in which real peace officers do. What you are calling decorations come standard on a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor package, along with a upgraded list of parts under the hood. As for this Interceptor. Its mostly factory. Spotlights, trunk fascia, wheels, plastic seat, partition. Driver fault, not car

  • @wheelman1991 Just saying, it doesn't do him any favours to be driving around in it.

  • @wheelman1991 well dumb ass did u see all the weapons and badges and the crown Victoria would have been stripped of all lights the cage and spot light and yes it is illegal 2 have any strobing led light in your car

  • @wheelman1991 The only thing the police don't remove when they decomission a cruiser is the programming in the pcm because it is factory programming and is essential to the proper operation of the powertrain.

  • @MrNotorius5500 not true; many times a department will only remove their radios and markings, useally they will remove or disconnect the emergancy lights, You can readily find former Police vehicles with the mobile cell (cage, plastic seats & floor pan, window guards, push bumpers, antennas, and spot lights). All Crown Vics with the police package come factory standard with the "Police Interceptor: badge on the rear deck lid.

  • @wheelman1991 Some states like Massachusetts for instance, do require you to have a permit to have emergency response equipment installed in a privately owned vehicle.

  • How did they find out he was fake?

  • LMAO Yeah, good luck trying to call 911 while you're being "arrested".

  • I have never seen a chp officer in all black. I see people wearing FBI, and CIA, office of homeland, and county coroner hats all the time, in fact los angeles county coronor has a gift shop that sells to the public. I also see people wearing fire dept t-shirts and hats and nothing ever seems to get said to them. lets not forget about funeral traffic motorcycles, they look like police, but are not.

  • what police label? you can buy that car off of craigslist, autotrader with no problems. no face hair, really?

  • @mr1nutwonder Having "Police interceptor" on the back of your trunk is a police label! Where I grew up uses red/blue but my college town uses blue only.

  • @HesterDW : strange, ford will sell the police interceptor emblem to anyone, just go to any parts counter, just looked on e-bay, their is a bunch of them for sale. I have seen blue only, red/blue, and green, many states use a red only spot light. ex police/ government crown vics are found every where for sale.

  • @mr1nutwonder Yea its pretty dumb. But theyll also sell strobes. All that is ok until you actually pose as a cop. And my second part of my comment wasnt directed towards you sorry.

  • @HesterDW : I was in walmart today with a friend, a guy walked by us with a sheriffs hat on. all it said was sheriff, just like my other comment I put up, its getting way to common to see people wearing some kind of clothing with law enforcement and fire labels on it. we have a plumber where I live, he purchesed a ex ambulance, he calls himself plumbing medic, it still looks like a ambulance, when you first look at it, the light bar, is clear, with no lights. he's been around for years.

  • @mr1nutwonder Idk why anyone would want to be mistaken for a cop. I read a story recently from an owner of a ex CVPI. He had pulled up to a 7-11 late at night. Two guys walked out and gave him very dirty looks. He learned shortly after walking in that the 7-11 had just been robbed. I can only imagine what would happen if theyd had guns and decided to open up on him. I drive a 2007 impala and live near a bad part of town. Whenever Im in there Im always cautious.

  • @HesterDW : I see so many ex police cars from auctions being driven around, then theirs the private security we see everywhere. where I live, you see ex police crown vic's all over the place. we even have a used car lot full of them. $2500 will get you one ready to drive.

  • @apr1125 this video was from california so must of the things they saint was true

  • In Texas everyone from Dept of Transportation , Security cars , tow trucks etc has fucking blue lights on them . The cops use blue with red and everyone else uses blue with whatever or straight blue . Its complete bullshit . People who dont know any better , mostly the elderly and tourists get out of the cars way to let them pass when these assholes use their lights so they can speed and cut thru traffic .

  • LOL 0:08 - 0:12

  • REAL police always use red and blue? Ever heard of Vermont among other places?

  • @OnThe23rd well obviously this is a news report for A state NOT all states so some police departments are different depending on what state you are in.

  • @OnThe23rd True, some police departments use yellow or green only. red/blue seems to be most common where I live.

  • @OnThe23rd

California only requires a steady burn red forward, with yellow flashing backward, which this idiot doesn't even have.

  • i remember i got caught doin that one time ha

  • Ask for ID from a suspicious looking "cop". If he refuses and attempts to subdue you, or assault you, draw your concealed wepon and waste his ass.

  • copstache

  • Where I'm from, sheriffs run blues only. And in NYPD runs reds only. FHP uses reds during the day and blues at night. And I know a few cops that not only have beards, but they have more tattoos than me! News reporters are out to get law abiding citizens in trouble, that's all.

  • The police package cars are easily bought at surplus sales. There is no set standard for plain clothes or detectives.

  • rofl, get a life seriously

  • Okay so about the errors in this video.

    1) the "police interceptor" label doesn't mean shit, its on my CVPI.

    2) Not ALL law enforcement run RED/BLUE

    3) They are not "Strobe" lights, they are LED's.

    4) Not all REAL police officers have to have a "clean cut" or "shaven" look. There are many VICE detectives I know of that have full beards or crazy hairstyles.

  • @APR1125 All true. Especially the interceptor label.

  • @APR1125 thats just the point, detectives, a uniform patrol officer is going to be clean cut

  • @APR1125 lol funny to see your comment on here Alec :P

  • @APR1125 you got a point.

  • What a stupid goof.

  • Wow that car looked legit. The real cops should just take his car and use it! They wouldnt have to do anything on it!

  • I am a police "afficionado" and can tell the difference between many real and wannabees. Honesly, I myself (had the lights been off) would have not know the difference. I mean usually the seat divider is what sells it for me. Besides the usual govt. plates

  • Fucking idiot reporter. The "Police Interceptor" label on the trunk is simply the trim or submodel of the Crown Vic, like Ford Mustang "GT". It is normally found on most P71's whether in police service or not. It was probably already on the car when this fake cop got his Crown Vic. And many PD's will leave antennas, push bumpers and spotlights on the car when they sell their P71's.

  • Lmao. I have a black crown vic with dark tinted windows and a spotlight and push bumper. It scares the crap out of many drivers when i drive lolol but i have no lights or siren. Cause thats illegal!

  • lol i have a crown vic with the cag still in it and the spot lights lol

  • Actually, real Police don't just flash red and blue. In my region, we run all blues.

  • @Callihandawg in my cusion area they use blue and amber so thats deff not close to red lol

  • @jimmey303 Exactly. And yes, we have amber as well. Mostly in directional bars.

  • dark black?

if its not dark black then its grey...

  • fuck I just notice after watching plenty of videos today that no fucking ads poped or started before the videos! What the fuck, did youtube laid off the ads or what? Oldschool youtube is back! hehehe... i which..

  • all police interceptors have "police badges"

  • or u could just drive like a normal citisn instead of a teenage crack head and follow the laws.

  • there not stobes u idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • They should have tased his ass and punched him in his fake badge till he cried uncle. He was probably a rapist.

  • I heard in some states yoou can have police lights on your car aslong as you CANT ACTIVATE them. And abuse the power to have them. but you might wanna check with your department befor doing so.

  • u know woman those are leds. just making a point.

  • And all police cars will and are supposed to have FLASHING HEADLIGHTS, And will most always WILL BE IN FULL UNIFORM. except sometimes narcotic officers. they will have facil hair and different badges. but they will always show u wat ever you wish to know/see.

  • What a moron,he forgot his steady burn red.

  • well he just gave the cops a new police car
