I also point out that alot of deforestation that takes place in these nations is to meet demand for goods from the west. Ie the deforestation of the amazon for cattle farming.

Both of those posts are simply misdirection. This is about whether or not Lord Monckton is a 'serious scientist'. I have stated that Moncktons only qualifications are in classics and journalism and that he has no formal qualifications in any scientific discipline.

Unless you now have some other evidence suggesting Moncktons scientific qualifications, I would ask you to accept that he is not in fact a 'serious scientist'.
