Aight guys. I'm American and I'm here to settle this argument. You can NOT compare the USMC, and the Royal Marines...You just can't. The Royal Marines are COMMANDOS.....US Marines are everything from Infantrymen (good ones, but not commados) to clerks. Thus you have Female US Marines. Because the US Marines aren't all combat troops. If you want to compare Royal Marines to anyone, compare them to USMC Recon, or the 75th Ranger Regiment. Does it matter either way? They all kick ass TOGETHER

lol i was looking at some exercise fitness vids on youtube (out of curiosity) that claim to help you get fit, man you should have seen the rubbish they were telling people. One claimed bouncing on the spot punching you arm in and out for 2 min then switiching will get you fit. Compared to the marines get fit to apply vids they look like p*ss takes lol

@asianwannabeamerican To be honest, you can compare them. The Royal Marines require a higher level of cardio vascular fitness, whereas the U.S marines focus on muscular fitness. I do favour the Bootnecks, but I do appreciate that the US marines do put the effort in and try.

@Isthisthelongestname Sorry but the USMC is not all talk. they have a very proud history. keep in mind the USMC and the RM have very little in common the RM is a commando force which is why they are only about 3,000 in size the USMC is a shock force and bring the might of it's own tanks,choppers,infantry,Logist­ics etc etc without the navy's support. and the USMC has it's own Spec ops guys too.
