I just hate it that seemingly every single human that makes any kind of decision in the AvP universe is a gigantic moron. How many times do Xenomorphs have to escape from secure conditions and slaughter you and your entire installation until you get the message that trying to make use of them is a BAD IDEA?

DUde when you play against the pred on the last level. Dont use light attack and block tactique. Just repeadetly hit him with that heavy attack. if you press on the right timing. he won't be able to hit you back. that's how u win much easier

So I watched this...and applied it. I swear Nightmare was easier for the than Hard difficulty lol. However, I did spam heavy attack like crazy after I got the Elite in the corner. Thanks for posting this vid, it was a tremendous motivator/help.

@gNatFreak Well I'm on PS3 myself. I repurchased this to take short breaks from MGO. But yeah, its looking like the only trophies I won't be getting are the Marine (Hard and Nightmare) and the online ones.

@TheRifleMasta Ah I see; well I can't speak for Marine Nightmare, but Marine hard is definitely doable! I did Marine on Hard as my very first playthrough of the game :p (before I played multiplayer or the other campaigns; granted I had played the demo a bit...)

@gNatFreak Well some guy has a speed run posted for Marine Nightmare, so I'ma try it. I started it on hard but got stuck in the Refinery where you have to fight the Xeno's when initiating the first hack. I'm discovering with the Xenos or Preds its about seeing what they're attack set up is, and either blocking it or intercepting it.

This is the easiest Nightmare campaign. Marines on Nightmare is straight up brutal. The most tense FPS gaming I've played all year. The acid. Shotgun/sniper blasts, and just straight up being the weakest species on the planet. INTENSE!

With the Alien campaign being the "earliest" one. The explosion on the Queen, is actually part of the Marine campaign when you destroy it as Rookie.

You later come there as the Predator and they comment on how the Queen has died etc.

hey guys, found an easy way to kill the predator on the harder difficulties.

at first stay just in range to use your tail, gradually weaken him and then he will go invisible and run away.

while he's running away catch up to him and use ur close combat heavy attack to hit his back and it'll knock him forward.

keep hitting his back with the heavy attack and he won't be able to turn around or run away, and u'll gradually lower his health down to nothing.

Alien doesn't have a gender just some aliens are selected to become queens and lay eggs while others are drones or warriors. Number six became a queen because the other queen was torched.

I think it counts each campaign individually. So you could do the last, and then the middle, and then all of the rest and still get it once you finish the last mission you have left. Just a guess though.

Does anyone understand why Six faints when he comes out of the Predator fight. by the way? I chalked it up to being out of energy from the fight, or maybe the hive being destroyed and it being like a sensory overload, but does anyone know for sure?

The queen and six are "linked" (that's why you can hear/see the queen while playing the campaign; after all, aliens don't have HUDs ^^). If the queen feels pain, six feels pain, and so six "faints".

There's a vent in the wall at the bottom right side, when looking at the wall. You should see a facehugger waiting for you in it (assuming that's the right level, and you're stuck at the beginning).

The marine fight vs the Predators is much much harder :P (pred has shields, and if it ever gets in melee range, you'll probably die on Hard difficulty).

But yeah, the aliens campaign was the easiest.

thats understandable: like you said, predators has shields, alien has armor exoskeleton, but the marine is just a man.
