I dont like this phone. I hade Xperia X1 Black and i had it for 6 months. I changed it for Nokia n96 :) But now i have the Iphone 4 16GB and its the best phone! IPhone 4 ever!

Now, although the Xperia "only slides," if you pay close attention to all the pictures of the phone, you'll notice that it isn't a straight slide out, the top and bottom halves of the phone are arced, so the phone, in essence, "tilts" as you slide it out.

I didn't get a chance to play around with the ONE Xperia I've ever held for too long, so I can't really comment on how comfortable the arcing makes texting.

yeh retard I know it tilts as it slides, but you have degree of angle to choose while opening it, what I was saying was I wish you could slide it and then choose the angle you wish to tilt it like the tilt

I've never owned a tilt, and likely wouldn't own one, I'm just mentioning that it would make a better phone if it the tilting would have been designed in such a way that you could choose the exact angle of tilting

Why SONY ERICSSON didn't put a plastic border around THEIR phone? Are you kidding me? The Xperia is MADE BY HTC. Its called the HTC Kovsky.

You CANNOT do a legitimate review without actually USING the phone! I had the HTC Hermes (ATT 8525) for a while and now I have an HTC Touch Pro. Both phones are marvelous. But the Touch pro does not have any border and its hard to press the X button or the start button. I've played with the Xperia, and that metal border is amazing as a finger guide.

I'm very sure Sony gave HTC the specs and all the designs. HTC most likely did all the circuit schematics and worked around Sony's vision. The crazy thing, is that the Xperia has a WVGA screen, which the HTC Touch HD does as well, but on the Xperia, all those pixels are squeezed onto the standard 3.0" screen.

Other than the screen size, the phone is pretty much the same as the Touch Pro (which I'm proud to have :D )

does he have a problem pressing buttons, all he goes on about is the fact that the buttons on screen are hard to press and the buttons on the casing is also hard to press. He doesnt have fat fingers so what is his problem, would he like the device 6 foot long, with buttons that are a foot across and can be pressed by your foot?
