@Renceau oh come on man you dont have to be getting abusive! i think there is a different kind of engineering put into there F1 cars than in their road cars, im just speaking from my own experience, my friend bought a brand new clio in 07 and within 3 years there were serious engine problems, and also electrical problems, the car had to be sold because it was just a money pit, i had a megane which i had to get rid of as did my brother, only saying what happened me and people i know, RELAX!

@Renceau all i can base my opinions on are my own experiences, and in my experience i have found renault engines to be shit, thats all.. prone to overheating, head gasket trouble, cylinder head cracking easily, valves dropping, throttle body failing, alternator failing.. just thinghs that happened to me and people i know on various different occasions in a few different renaults, if you think renault make great engines then you must think the likes of toyota, honda and misubishi are amazing!

It was in good shape! Why wasn't an effort put into saving it for use as a replacement to someones car that needs good motor?
