  • Oh yeah! I love mine, I was just showing it off to a friend today!, it's hard to understand though 'till you fire one, I love mine!!! Thanks for checkin out the video, I wanna get some of the old girl in action soon...

  • I hunt with my M44, solid bush gun and can still hit out to 1000m if you need to.

  • No the rifle is not junk, I agree the the rifle is a capable hunter, It always does what I ask it to, Thanks for the comment....

  • Based on reloading data the 30-06 and the 7.62x54R have little if any difference in velocity. A lot of people like to discredit the rifle as Russian junk but it is a powerful rifle. In Russia this round is used to hunt Moose and Polar Bear. Quite a contrast to the states where everyone thinks they need the latest shortest magnum cartridge to get a deer.

    Also

If you hold a modern short magnum next to the 7.62x54R you will see the new cartridge has a lot in common with it's 118 year old cousin.

  • Cool rifle, bro, hope I get to fire one soon.

  • Anyone interested in the Mosin Nagant rifle should see the movie "Enemy at the Gates" which is based on an actual Russian sniper who used this very gun to help bring down the Germans. OK vid man but you lost points by being cut short on rec time!

  • Yeah if you do a quick capture than it only like publishes like 2/3 of what you lay down so later video will be done different.

  • I totally agree the Mosin is a great hunting rifle.
