@mmaier2112 Seriously. I don't doubt there's technique behind this 4 second video, but I'm not blown away. Maybe the burden of musical misunderstanding is upon *me* but most of her videos sound like a raccoon on angel dust knocking around a ceramic-ware shop in the dark.... I'll entertain that she's talented, and I just haven't seen enough, but most of these comments are blown out any genuine proportion... Cheers.

Y'all that don't get it - that tells the rest of us what level of drumming you're at - or are not. She has mastery of her instruments and is making music with them.

Drums *can* be used to convey musical expressions by themselves but it takes someone like Suzie who realizes that making music with drums and percussion consists of much more than power strokes and random rudiments thrown together with blazing speed.

You speed-and-power-only freaks, she can blow your doors off in that arena too.

For those with bricks for ears:note she is getting distinctly different tones with her left hand.That recquires sublime technique and a special touch.Note the melody and spacial awereness too. In order to get these distinct tones one must have subtle control. She is deeper than you could even imagine.

Use your head for something other than a hat rack please.

There is so much music in this short clip. Susie makes the drums sing, rather than playing really cool rhythms or grooves she does that and them some. Extraordinary player!
