@000kunjan The tune is not lifted by Harris Jayaraj. If you listen carefully, the opening lines of this song is in the raga Nattai and same with that song in Anniyan. Both of them have used Nattai, with shades of ChalaNattai. And in Anniyan that song follows the scene, where all the musicians are singing the Nattai pancha ratna kriti in Thiruvaiyaru and hence the follow on dream sequence is in Nattai.

@hariku007 The lyrics for this song is not by Vairamuthu but chosen by him, from Sangam era poetry . Even if you are well versed in Tamil, you cannot get the entire drift of the lyrics as the Tamil used here is very pure and of a bygone era. They should have subtitled this song in modern day Tamil !!!
