@wrvs09 Are you mental? The M4 Carbine IS the M4A1. The M4 has a thing called a "switch" which allows you to switch from single shot, to fully automatic. The M16 is a burst weapon. But the newly improved M16A4 can be burst and fully automatic. Learn your guns man.

@LabEntZ they aren't the same, I'm aware of the switch, but it switches between semi-auto and 3 round burst in the M4 Carbine. In the M4A1 carbine there is a switch for auto, its not the same gun. Also, there is no full auto in M16A4. M16 has semi/auto, M16A1 has semi/ auto, M16A2 has semi/burst, M16A3 has semi/auto, and the M16A4 has semi/burst. They got rid of full auto because it wasted ammo and was less efficient where as with a 3 round burst, at least 2 of the bullets will hit.
