  • you're the best

  • I really really like your legs, they look so pretty! And I like your dancing of course, too. Thank you very much vor your tutorials and everything, it helps alot!

  • how long did it take for you to get that good?

  • where do you get your pole shorts that you use for practicing? I can't seem to find any that doesn't wedge!

  • OMG, You are really inspiring me, just a suggestion, it could be cutest if you had toes pointed while ur dancing,

  • you're making me dizzy.

  • WOW!! your so good!!! how long have you been doing pole for, cause i have started and have been doing it for nearly a year now and really wanna learn some in this vid. Are there any tips to learn quicker and be able to get the strength in the right areas?

  • omg i love ur vids for real :D Was it hard for you to start learning all those tricks? How did u start? Im really interested.

  • @305lachula It was challenging at first, and still is. That's what i like about it. Always something new to learn. It's a lot of hard work and it's not as easy as it seems but very fun and rewarding.

I started at pole classes, then i bought my own pole and practiced at home

  • wow you are amazing...i want dance like you.. please tell me some advices ...for me your stile is the best that see before..my english is no so good because im from cuba but hope that you understand..thanks so much for de videos and please keep doing..xxxx

  • @titostime Only advice is to practice all the time. Practice the moves, and also the dancing bit. Also, watch a lot of videos of different dancers to get ideas and inspiration from. That's what i did :)

  • how do you get more grip with your legs???

also, when you started learning did you start with spinning cause i have mine set to static and can't seem to do anything on spinning to save my life

  • @estine1988

I started with spinning, i recommend that you practice on both. Use static to learn the moves then try those moves on spinny. Just practice and you'll get used to it.

I actually use sorbelene cream on my body for grip, otherwise my skin is too dry and slip off the pole. Not all creams are suitable though so you'll have to trial and error and find the right one (oil free ones).

  • @dirdybirdy101 Wait, this pole is spinning instead of you spinning around the pole?! I never knew! Learn something every day! But now it makes a lot more sense. I was all wondering how you could be spinning so fast without getting burned. Great stuff by the way. My friend posted one of you vids and FB and it has inspired her to find lessons locally. Amazing stuff you've got going for your routines.

  • DAMN GIRL. You ROCK. LOOOOVE the pit hold stuff. Im still working on that skill.

  • ok so i have a pole at home and i have been trying to do tricks and moves on it like u but i suck realy bad and it hurts too.. does it stop hurting or am i just going to have to deal with the pain.. also what do i do for my grip to hold idk but my palms start to sweat and i cant keep hold, i slip.. and by the way u are so beautiful... and i love ur body it looks so fit..

  • @gblush415

Yes, pole dancing involves a whole lotta pain lol But it does go away so be patient.

I use Tite-grip, an antiperspirant for the hands. Others have used i-tac and mighty grip which i have used also but do not like. I recommend you trying all three and choosing for yourself. If you have problem with gripping with your legs let me know and i'll give you advice to get better grip

  • which pole would u recommend? chrome or titanium gold? Im really indecisive between the two right now..

  • @swtaznxtcgrl612 Don't worry too much about that. Chrome or titanium, both are good. Some say titanium has more grip but only after the pole is warmed up. I've used both and I don't mind either. Which ever one you choose you will get used to it.

  • @dirdybirdy101 -thanks dear! that was really helpful advice..because there are pros and cons to both type of poles but I guess it just depends on your preference..too bad the Us market doesnt sell the titatanium gold in the silver color like Australia..

  • Your dances look so pretty! I'm going to do a spinny video now....If I don't get sick in the process! haha! My pole is *always* on static...but maybe I can live with just one practice on spinny! :)

  • @cparks53

I say, grit your teeth and bear it and go on spinny. You might just develop immunity to nausea :)

I find spinny a whole lot more fun

  • wow! this is beautiful!!!

  • @sashadith513

    Thanks :)

  • OMFG. I love you. I am so amped up right now. Thank you so much! It's awesome knowing you don't need to be flexible and can start at any fitness level. Thank you!

  • Also, did you learn via classes? Aaaand, did you have any prior experience like gymnastics as a kid or something since you need flexibility and arm strength. I can't even do more than 2 pushups. -_-

But please keep the videos coming! You are amazing!

  • I'm so glad I've influenced you to take up pole dancing! That is awesome.

Everyone's progress is different. It depends on the frequency you practice and also the fitness level you start with.

I started with classes but stoppd going once I got my own pole. However there are plenty of polers that I know that are purely self taught. You can also take online lessons to get the basics then learn on your own with vids on youtube. It's safe to say that you'll get the basics in about 2-4 months.

  • And also, I've had absolutely no dancing or gymnastic background. That is why I was and still am inflexible (compared to the pros of this sport). I was quite fit prior to classes but the beauty of pole dancing is that anyone can start and gain strength.

Just start! And post vids of your progress where you can ask for help and feedback.

Hope you begin the pole journey :)

  • OMG! That was amazing. I have this favorited. After seeing you I've decided to take up pole/vertical dancing as well. I'm def. gonna be taking classes asap.

I was wondering how long have you been doing this and how long after starting did you have the basics down? I'm tryna get an idea of how long it would take me.

  • Amazing.

  • Beautiful, Congratulations!

  • You did so well, and you look pretty too x

  • thanks for the lovely comment :)

  • great job!!

  • Thanks! :D

  • girl you have gotten ridiculously good!!! well done..

  • thanks :D

  • ive tried the cupid and can get in the position easily but my bottom foot just slides away...whats the knack to it because you seem to hold it for ages ? that yogini to rocketman was so cool, loved it xx

  • Thanks Lara.

Try placing that bottom foot closer to the hooked knee so that you are pushing INTO the pole rather then down it. When in position I'm kinda squeezing the bottom leg towards the pole, so there should be a lot of weight pushing sideways on the pole. Hope that made sense

  • cupid is legit * i have to hold on to my leg or else my fat ass falls off haha

wait a sec! i thought gemini is inside arm outside leg! * so wouldnt that be a flipped scorpio instead of reversed gemini?

anyway you have lots of nice stunts in this vid

  • by golly you're right poledude! It's a flipped scorpio. Never thought of that.

For the cupid, try placing your body up high relative to your top knee before letting go. That is, imagine that your weight is pushed down on the hooked knee not hanging off it. Does that make sense?

  • yes makes sense * its just its harder for me to do that stunt cause my pole isnt very high * by the time i get into position my foot is touching the floor * plus the adjuster cover at the top knocks off a good 8 inches * it can still be done though but it gets me mad

  • fantastic video

it is a great help to watch

  • i'm glad to hear, thanks hun :)

  • lookin' good! great height on your pull up on the pole...!

  • thank you :)

  • Love your yogini. I'm still working on that one but it hurts like heck everytime.

1:02 to 1:17 was so graceful.

  • yup, the yogini is a painful one to learn. Just grit your teeth and hold it, hold it! And then, no more nerve endings.

    Thanks hun :)

  • great moves!!!! thanx for sharing

  • thankyou :)

  • Loved yogini to rocketman~all your move are so strong & pretty~you make it look so easy~great vid xx

ps~finally got an xpole yesterday =D

  • woohooo congratulations on the xpole. How exciting! Your progress is going skyrocket. You don't have to fear falling over now.

    Thanks for watching hun xox

  • Great Video! You did a invert position into the Twisted grip near the end right? I been wanting to try it. Ppl are saying its better to start that way when learning the TG.. but everything was great :)

  • Thanks Sam!

Are you talking about the TG handspring?

I actually learnt the TG handspring first then I got around to the TG aysha from invert. But I'm thinking it woud be easier to learn from the invert. I think the trick is to push your bum away from the pole, balance then realease your legs from the pole. You're a strong girl, you'll get it soon :)

  • haha I tried 1:29 lasy night and it was a big fat bust! Well done on the yogini to rocketman! Great vid girl!

  • Thanks Jessie.

For the teddy, I just make sure my back (or back of my hips) is gripping the pole

    :)
