Try digging a full size military trench, open top, up to about mid chest level 6 feet by 2 feet and if your really good dig the ohc with is the same thing but about 3 feet deeper right next to it with log covering then the top soil from it, if this is too vague just message me I can send you the full details

I wasn't even digging underground, I just dug a trench (which is less than 2 feet deep), put some STRONG supporting poles on top, put leaves and sand on top. @mandgsurvival next time you build an underground shelter, do what miners did, reinforce the sides with sticks for a solid frame. My grandfather told me of how they had to build tunnels to escape from POW camps and a trench or tunnel is only as strong as the walls that hold it up.

They do still have camping in Belgium but from what I've found, you have to rent a campsite which has been inspected and regulated for certain safety standards. Apparently in Belgium rough camping is just too unpredictable and therefore considered unsafe.

In which country you live? wild camping it's a very rewarding activity, get informed, (not only on YT :). Get a sleeping bag, pad, headtorch, compass, pocket knife, tent/tarp and whatever you think is needed.Most important, ask yourself..what if?..
