  • Try digging a full size military trench, open top, up to about mid chest level 6 feet by 2 feet and if your really good dig the ohc with is the same thing but about 3 feet deeper right next to it with log covering then the top soil from it, if this is too vague just message me I can send you the full details

  • @ichrammsteinfan Yeah, it's pretty vague, can you please send me a PM? Thanks!

  • @merrymagician101 Don't read this comment guys, it's just a stupid joke of my brother. Subscribe to his channel please, he rocks (I had to tell this so he would tell on his channel to subscribe to me LOL XD).

  • @jogunther16 Look dude, as I have already said a thousand times, I know what I'm doing. I have lots of experience about being in the woods, shelterbuiding,... I wasn't even digging underground, I just dug a trench (which is less than 2 feet deep), put some STRONG supporting poles on top, put leaves and sand on top. If you think I'm stupid because I dig underground (which I DON'T), you are the stupid one, not me. By the way, my grandfather, my brother, sister and 2 cousins were with me...

  • Suggestion... build it deeper and line it with metal to be able to survive solar radiation. :o)

  • Very nice shelter, looks like you put a lot of work into it.

  • @BANGBANG73 Actually, it only took about 2 hours to build it... Thanks for watching!

  • You did a great job. The window is a nice touch.

  • @ETHIOLOGIST1 Thanks!

  • nice video thanks keep up the good work!

  • @CadeTheSmokeRingKing LOL, I've been thinking about that either...

  • I checked out your YouTube Channel and I must say that i am impressed. Keep up the good work and don't be discouraged. There are only a few who have the courage to dare to do great things, the others play XBOX. The skills you are teaching will be in high demand in a few months with this global Ponzi scheme crashes. You'll do fine.

  • @cyrusdhtexas Thanks for your nice comment! I appreciate your kind words and acouraging. Thanks for helping!

  • Good job. Practice makes perfect. While some people complain you are out there digging. I place my bets on DOERS not COMPLAINERS. besides, I know a spider hole when I see one.

  • @cyrusdhtexas Thanks for your kind words!

  • you will die in there

  • looks cool have you checked how good it does against rain

  • @youweretheniamnow No, because when I came back to the shelter site after a while, it was demolished...

  • @mandgsurvival next time you build an underground shelter, do what miners did, reinforce the sides with sticks for a solid frame. My grandfather told me of how they had to build tunnels to escape from POW camps and a trench or tunnel is only as strong as the walls that hold it up.

  • i love your shelter!! so what tools did you use?

  • @Jinx11111 The only tool I used is a small shovel. It took about 2 hours to build it. Thanks for watching and your comment!

  • dont listen to any morons! you rule kid!

  • Ignore all the idiots buddy, good job

  • @Gngrcpl Thans, I'll try...

  • I'm not kidding, it's not allowed in my country, Belgium. I know it's stupid, because I like to be in the woods.

  • @mandgsurvival wild camping isn't allowed in Belgium? Wow, Why? I always thought it was considered a basic freedom that spanned the globe.

  • @Caveman0713 I don't know why, and I know it sucks...

  • @mandgsurvival there should be some sort of record as to why the law or regulation was enacted. (went ahead and looked it up). They do still have camping in Belgium but from what I've found, you have to rent a campsite which has been inspected and regulated for certain safety standards. Apparently in Belgium rough camping is just too unpredictable and therefore considered unsafe.

  • @Caveman0713 Thanks, but I already knew that. Camping on an inspected and regulated campsite is allowed (I did it a few times), but camping in the wild is not allowed. Thanks for your help.

  • wait wild camping is not allowed in your country @ mandgsurvival ? r u kidding and where do you live

  • LOOK PEOPLE, I'M NOT GOING TO SURVIVE OR SLEEP IN THERE!!! I JUST LIKE BUILDING SHELTERS, SO PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT I WILL DIE IN THERE!!!

  • what the fuck are you gona survive from in there? you have risk of hypothermia, flooding, collapsing roof and walls, you'll be all sandy 24/7.... stay in your house -__-

  • @cdjrulz4ever Look, I'm not going to survive in there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just like building shelters and i'm interested in survival, emergency preparedness, camping... SO DON'T SAY I WILL DIE IN THERE!!!

  • nice hole

  • okay dick heads u dont have to keep saying its gonna cave in i think he knows and plus its like a hobby to him and i think its awsome just correct some things and u got a bad ass fort.

  • @NRsniper33 Thanks, you are the first one who gets the point... Thanks for your comment!

  • all you need is a headstone on top and your ready to go kid, lol that hole is ok if ur stuck in Alaska,

  • If you were going to somehow survive in there where's the bloody food

  • @djjxo IM NOT GOING TO SURVIVE IN THERE BECAUSE WILDCAMPING IS NOT ALLOWED IN MY COUNTRY! I JUST LIKE BUILDING SHELTERS

  • .hi there! ..u did a good jub but that soil it's very dangerous and at risk of cave-in; even a small earthquake would do it. In which country you live? wild camping it's a very rewarding activity, get informed, (not only on YT :). Get a sleeping bag, pad, headtorch, compass, pocket knife, tent/tarp and whatever you think is needed. Most important, ask yourself..what if?..

your brain is the most important survival tool. ..good day

  • funny someone comes along and fills the hole while you're in there see how long you last then

  • you are going to die in there

  • @bamabonsaiguy I don't sleep in there, you know. Lots of people say that I'll die in there, but I know it's too heavy to sleep in it. By the way, wildcamping is not allowed in my country, so I never sleep in the woods. I just like building shelters.

  • homemade grave is more like it dont look to safe llol

  • @randomnoone It isn't safe, that's why I don't sleep in it. I know the roof is too heavy. By the way, wildcamping is not allowed in my country, so I never sleep in the woods, I just like building shelters.

  • @mandgsurvival your not aloud to sleep out side in your country damn thats messed up where do you live Russia ? still hanging out in there you could get killed if it came down you wouldn't be able to get out and you would suffocate or the wight would crush your lungs just make an above ground shelter lol

not beeing an ass just trying to help you out

  • @Nicko978 proove what? I do plan on making one but I'm A. waiting fir the snow to go away( i live in Vermont) and B. Figureing out if I'm making a flat top of a pit house

  • Good job now try making one in almost pure clay soil like I have loll

  • @thewhiteboysamurai Jeah, I've forgotten to remove the pinecone :)

  • @mandgsurvival what about the spiders?? and the older u get u will have to make it bigger

  • @loverroll It's already big enough for an adult, and there are almost no spiders in that area.

  • @thewhiteboysamurai good job now try making a video to prove it like he has loll

  • That's a deep hole!!!!!!!

  • @Survivalteen No, it isn't, it's just 1.5 feet deep, but it's a very long hole, just long enough to lie down in.
