The F-22 is great as a tactical aircraft, but off course not for general purpose. It requires far too much maintenance and is very expensive, so nobody could afford a large order of them. I don't think I believe in the F-35 for this role. I'd rather see a T-50 PAK FA type plane for general purpose, cause it can carry far more missiles and is faster, while you also have a plane with very good assumed stealth capabilities. The F-22 is the summit of 5th gen tech, but it remains purely tactical.

Nope...well kinda...they host air shows about 2 to 3 times a year...what people don't see is what is going on underneath their feet...been there quite a few times myself...nearly got shot by a guard for getting too close to a B2 for a photo op...pretty scary shit...also...the armed guards guarding other doors just shows you there are things there they don't want you too see
