  • How do they know when these monuments were built? I mean, the age of the rock, the soil surrounding it, the trees and plantation yes, but the actual date they "built" something? wtf? That's beyond my comprehension.

    I don't know why they can tell the actual date, but i think they consider the mountain is built because of its

    structure.

  • @katiexin Yeah I understand about sedimentary layers of rock below the earth or in mountains or other natural sites but let's say a sculpture or statue, a non natural structure, what do they look for when determining the date something was built? We all know you can't carbon date stone. Something ancient possibly prehistoric would be impossible to know the date of edification wouldn't it?
