it's only dangerous if you aren't used to the weight or don't know how to dump. it's not like this is his first time squating 335kg. plus, the whole point of using a monolift is that you set yourself in a squat position before unracking. usually a squat rack with safetys requires you to move backwards to get into a squating position. walking backwards or forwards with several times your BW in itself is hard and wont help you in your squat.
see how far apart his legs are spread if you cheat like that you can sqaut alot more but wen u box squat thats the standard ur feel are shoulders with apart an ur feet are straight an u go down an thats a proper box squat
