Actually, that could be the key to making great tracks. I and a friend had really terrible computers, which forced us to make/find really creative and efficient methods in the way we made our tracks, which in turn, greatly improved our quality. Nowadays, I still have a pretty bad computer, but with those methods I learned, I can manage something decent with not-so-much lag. Just don't discredit your inability to make cool things due to the lack of an awesome computer.

Really nice, how do you decide on the chords on your pads, pads are something I normally start with first and determine the whole tracks chord progression. I see you kind of make different variations and alternate them, that's something I'm never good at, are these slight changes in chords or are they a bit more dramatic, perhaps moving to completely different chords or even scale?

PS I noticed you were struggling there with that sampler, if it does that double click the top of it :D

I know he probebley doesnt use it, but Improvisator (a vst) is a good tool for making nice, 4 note chords.
