  • I HATE militant vegans, and such DO exist! and they poke on their arguments. and such people cause a counterreaction, like antivegan trolls. A suggestion? do more vegan cooking videos, and INVITE and INSPIRE people to share you lifestyle. it will start will "less people eating meat" (to break with an established habit) and them getting comfortable with it. that is what made me to make a start with vegan (or at least vegetarian) cooking. PLEASE be happy with a start, and observe the progress.

  • A vegan that smokes, that is against what I experienced. But I smoke also, and converge towards ....well...at least "far less meat".

  • It's always easy for people to bash minority groups such as vegans. Veganism isn't some sort of radical cult. It's a thoughtful and kind way of living. Of course there are some vegans that give the rest of us a bad name. Just like there are meat eaters that give others a bad name. We've made a non-selfish choice & have to stand up for ourselves every day. Why do some meat eaters think we should apologise for not eating animal products? Why should animals have to suffer when it's not necessary?

  • id luv to through a bucket of suffering tears worth of water from animals on this cunt,

  • trolling. don't eat animals. eat baby humans. with 7 billion, one won't be missed. starving homeless children? OHG, pass the sauce!! yum yum, gett'er done. screw those barbaric corpse eating sociopaths. how can a farmer who raises livestock have children he loves? how does a sustenance hunter not kill his family and jizz himself over it, because killing animals always leads to human murder. lock them up. first he kills bambi, then he rapes and murders you. vegans tell me so.

  • I love you

  • It is interesting to listen to you, but it is hard for me to take you seriously while you are still smoking...honestly....1.69 million pounds of cigarette butts litter the world every year. Every one butt in a liter of water can kill a fish in a period of 96 hours. Butts are toxic to wildlife and many of the animals we vegans care to protect. Everyone has contradictions in theirs lives and perfectionism is ridiculous. That said, take care of yourself. Your health is all you have in this world.;)

  • @victorbigdipper vegans can "afford it". as they can have 3 houses and drive hummers, take 5 trips a year that require flight. because not eating factory farm meat, not eating overharvested fish puts them in the good place. a vegan in a hummer does more for the planet than an omnivore on a bike.

  • @kuwaizair hunh? no idea what you are talking about...

  • @kuwaizair veganism helps with population control as your cant reproduce with more then a few children tops on that diet, its not pro get in the kitchen barefoot n pregnant cunt its get in the kitchen cunt its been 62 minutes since we both last ate n im loosing weight already were vegan dont u remember? save the ominivore on a bike doing less for old crow mother skank earth, vegan weaklings are my favourite prey.

  • some people fail to realize vegan isn't healthy. you can argue that going vegan is moral, but you can't argue that it's healthy. paleo/primal (lots of organic and free-range meats, fish, eggs, and fats, as well as a large amount of veggies, with some fruits and nuts) seems to be the lifestyle that has the science to back it up as healthy and natural for humans.

  • @anactivegrenade this is a rather reductionist viewpoint without looking at the emergent properties of biological systems. Meat production is on the verge of collapsing the planet. If the globe heats up any more (relatively speaking) the permafrost will melt releasing more methane than we can live in-causing a mass extinction. Meat production is the number one contributor to global warming. No habitat, no living=no health. Big picture...

  • @victorbigdipper wow, i've never taken that standpoint before. but what properties of meat production cause global temperature increase? is it the emissions from transportation of the product as well as from the factories that process it?

  • @anactivegrenade that is part of it, but a small factor Methane (gas from the rumen stomach) has globally risen 148% and has 25 times the Global Warming Potential of co2. More importantly than that is NO2-nitrous oxide. No2 has 296 x the GWP and livestock account for 65% of human NO2 production from manure. Then there is ammonia which I have read different figure from different countries, but it is on average around 70%. Ammonia causes acid rain and acidification of the ocean.

  • it does seem like alot.of vegabs act similar to really religious people and arr super judgrmental... your fault for acting that way!

  • Why do you vegans think your better than everybody?

Different kind of food huh? Who gives a fuck.

  • @dachefffkoch the same reason other people feel better about themself when they fight racism, help kids who were bullied, or don't light homeless 70 year olds on fire for fun

  • I love you

  • Google is Not your Friend Google is BIAS! So your vegan But you smoke?

  • YOURE SMART. i love ur logic!!!! and i love ur hair too!! haha. i wish u make tons of more videos!

  • I LOVE UR VIDEO... IM VEGAN and i support u GO STRONG!!!

  • @3DHeaven shut up go to vegandian.

  • Animal rights my ass!

Animals should not have rights as they are not intelegent enough to comprehand the consiquences their actions meaning that they will just disreguard all rules if they are given the rights of a human being!

For all of you vegans out there(esspecially the ones that want to "educate" us meat eaters) we will not stop eating meat regardless of what you say! You can keep trying to pose us as "inhuman evil doers" but we are not mindless fools like you. good day,idiots...

  • @killer21334

ahhaha.. ure funny.. i used to be like u. no no. actually worst. hahah. until i became vegan.. hahah

  • @3DHeaven you know what they say, laughter without a reason is a sing of ignorance

you seem to be laughing without any explainable reason...

  • @3DHeaven

Hmm.. i don't even know what to reply..... its just funny.. and. am i ignorant bc of laughing? cool!!! i always wanted to stop being the egoistical intellectual smart ass i used to be.. so.. its actually very refreshing i am called an ignorant now! ha ha ha.. thank you you made my day. :)

  • please look at this list of cow by products WE MUST AVOID USING ALL OF THESE! h ttp ://w ww. re nse.com /gen eral6 /co w.htm (without the spaces!)

  • I'm eating bacon right now :)

  • Life to short to not eat meat and enjoy life. Fuck animals....were on the top of the food chain, they're ment to be eaten! I'm not apologising for that. Does a lion say sorry to a zebra when it's tearing it's throat apart....no. We are all animals....

Eating meat is apart of our evolutionary future, it's pussies like you that are fucking it up! If meat was good enough for my ancestors it's good enough for me.

I like eating meat, respect my decision and move on with your life.

  • satinISsexy

Right so nice chatting with you, hope you learned something

  • satinISsexy

Have i confused you with my questions & statements or do you not seek to reply? The way i see it your reply is almost wishy washy, passing off my remarks as if they hold little truth or importance to the argument you proposed. I do not fully understand why you are passing them off however.

  • satinISsexy

Your last argument is merely ad hominem, i ask you to refrain from it as i have given no reason for you to downgrade these replies into name-calling & stereotyping.

Please answer my ethical question rather than try to turn my question onto myself,i will gladly explain myself but i would like you to answer it as soundly as you perceive possible.

  • satinISsexy

Plants/trees are also the basis of any sustained wet land ecological systems, if anything fields encourage bio-diversity of complex species into an area. The thing you claim i err in, is something you encourage too when you do not buy organic/rain-forest protected products, & for the record the suffering of billions of sentient cattle does take a larger moral precedent over the likes of insects, especially when encouraging animal agriculture raises this suffering for wild species

  • satinISsexy

You have failed to answer my basic question, i ask you to please answer it. I do not find it okay to clear fields out as such, i abhorre such practices in south america of the hot-spot tropicals for life & seek to avoid purchasing products that aren't rainforest protected, Much land that produces plant-matter for all humans is already in use, the biggest ecological destroyers in agriculture is expanding grazing fields for ruminants, not crop-rotation/permacultured land.

  • If you are to study the Bible for real, you will discover that the vegan diet is promoted far beyond that of meat. Meat was eaten out of necessity because of the great deluge, there were no plants around. Meat was also introduced to lower the lifespan of man and it is known to cause degeneration and is very mutagenic. Look at the Israelites eating Manna, Daniel being a vegan and John the baptist, eating Carob and wild honey. (not a vegan but close) :)

  • satinISsexy

If you can argue this position i will be fine with it, where do you draw the line on what living beings we consider property? & why is it alright to treat a living aware being who can feel pain as an inanimate object akin to a vase? (ie they are an ends to our mean)

PS i don't know where you got the deluded thought but we slaughter animals in their prime when their meat is lean, cows for eg can live to 20-25 yrs we kill them at about 5-8yrs (depending on if they are used as dairy)

  • satinISsexy

Of course i do it for the animals I 100% do, not to save them. I wouldn't be so naive to think that my abstinence from meat is saving any animal-life that is born as of this moment. The health aspect of a high plant based diet is just a bonus, from an ethical stand-point i cannot justify eating animals.

I just feel that you err in saying cause one person lives to X old age with Y diet, that one is a direct causality of the other.

  • @satinISsexy I guess you understood me wrong. My point was that there are much more meat eaters than vegans. Being a "dickhead" is something every person can be. I do not belittle people (even though some vegans do)

  • satinISsexy

Since when does the longest living person correlate with the healthiest diet? There is a ton other factors, we all have heard of an old grandad/granny that chain-smoked and lived till 90 whilst another unfortunate person who didn't smoke & exercised dies of cancer at 65.

Vegetarianism already has enough studies in its favour to consider THAT diet at least. Veganism is more a philosophy/lifestyle than just a partial philosophy & diet like vegetarianism

  • "some vegans are dickheads" TRUE! There are even more non-vegan dickheads

  • Im a vegan, but the reason i think people think than vegans are part of a cult, is because of organizations like PETA, i hate PETA...

  • So he is not a troll he really hates vegans.

Remember just because you are refuting a moron does not make you right.

  • I cant help but notice the video you posted in response.

So you're answer to being trolled is to troll back? I'll tell you now thats a downhill slope...

  • ARe you smoking? Ahhhhhhhh Don't do it please....

  • @Greenvegan828 Its her choice. As far as I can tell cigarettes dont violate any Vegan principles. Made by humans from natural plants. Discount the dyed paper of course.

  • @Redpill2011 Sorry, cigs are not good for you. Cancer in the lungs makes no sense.

  • @Greenvegan828 And this makes it not her choice?

  • i stopped watching when i saw the cigarette :P

  • "Rigth because were against killing unlike hitler who was for killing.." LOL...YEAH BUT...HITLER WAS A VEGETARIAN....shows the type of people on your side.

  • Vegan is already very unhealthy due to lack of proteins, plus smoking a ciggarette, niiiiiiice, TRY to kill yourself why don't you -_-

Plus I really dislike her points of view. They're arrogant and simply annoying.

  • I just wanted to say I think your videos are fantastic. I've really enjoyed watching them all and only wish there were more!

@yekshemesh4alig, It's great that you want to move towards veganism, and there are lots of different substitutes for all dairy products, cheese included. Some are better than others, and most can be found in your local health food store. :) Have fun trying them out to see which you prefer!

  • All these absurdly childish comments. I've watched a few of your videos now and I think you're great.

I'd like to be fully vegan but I find it hard to adapt to certain things. I don't eat meat/fish, no cow milk or eggs except in pancakes and stuff (stupid, I know), no gelatine containing foods. I still eat dairy because I'm not fully convinced that it's healthy to drop it. In all honesty, it's because I'm used to it. I try to eat as much soy as I can but are there any subtitutes for cheese??

  • "blah blah blah, bullshit bullshit bullshit" as she said with cigarette in hand! LOL Wow thought vegan's were supposed to be tranquil and peaceful..... Guess not

    Ohhh look MEAT NAZI

srry srry just have to let you know dont you think you could use all that bullshit coming out of your mouth to grow more Plants! and here's the thing you can not and i repeat can not get all the vitamins and minerals you need from plants and pills I am NOT a anti-vegan Troll

and i agree with WolfPatronus LOL

  • @Muttkinggod You mentioned that you agree with me...but you said the opposite of what I said. I support veganism, and I love her videos!

And for your info, it is perfectly possible to get all your nutrients from plants if you plan your meals carefully.

And you are being a tiny bit of a troll.

  • @WolfPatronus "it is perfectly possible to get all your nutrients from plants if you plan your meals carefully"

For some people yes and others no. 2 factors. First you must genetically be able to metabolize Omega 3 short chain (from plants) into Omega 3 long chain (that humans need) The conversion rate is only about 5% on average because humans are NOT naturally herbivores. Secondly you must be from a country that has widely varied veggies all year long. and take B12 supplements.

  • Veganism is like a mental disease. :)

  • Why are there so many trolls on the video about trolls? If you're a troll, why are you watching this video? Hopefully, to realize the error of your ways.

But to TheVeganicWitch, I fully support you. Your videos are like crack, I've been watching them all afternoon. I've been ovo-lacto-veg since the age of 12, and I'm moving towards vegan. How many times am I allowed to hit the subscribe button? How about the like button? :)

  • veganBITCH would be more apt (what an ugly, malnourished girl)

  • Puppys r actually quite delicious

  • Spoiled Eurotrash, spoiled American pigs, and spoiled New Zealand and Australian faggots. All rich "first class" countries that hide the poor and starving human beings, while the middle class and higher bitch, bitch, bitch and complain about the slightest things. Sick garbage that wants to stop the production of food in order to *help* "animals rights" while not caring about the grave cost to those not as lucky as their weak Middleclass asses are. God Damn the world, and the complaining hippies.

  • @HippieHunter357 I wouldn't put it so harshly, but you are right. The current cult form of veganism is basically a luxury of the elitist rich. It is very similar to Marie Antionette telling the starving French "Let them eat cake"

I hear so often the total lie that eating meat starves poor people. Do you cultist Vegans realize that the malnourished and starving poor typically are on a forced "Vegan" diet simply because they can't afford some eggs meat or milk to put in their bowl of rice?

  • @rosepetal108 Why can't the starving poor afford some eggs, meat or milk? You are quite the elitist, that you accuse VeganWitch of, aren't you? You get your eggs, meat and milk from the Piggly Wiggly. What the hell is the problem with the starving poor in Africa? According to you, they can't afford meat. Get your head around a paradigm shift and start really making a difference for the malnourished and starving poor that you pretend to give a shit about.

  • @askalice50 Wow And when was the last time you fed a poor person in any country? Because I tell you what. I do my share and then some. So does the rest of my family. Not one of us is rich either. Whether it is going to the bakery and driving the extra bread to every food bank in the area, taking 100's of broken wheelchairs and repairing them for donations, to taking a month out every year to provide medicine and food (and those fixed wheel chairs) to the poor in many countries around the world

  • @rosepetal108 I do the same in my community, rosepetal. I'm involved with street people every day. I think the difference between you and me is that I do not condemn others who do compassionate work simply because their values don't fit mine. I happen to care about animals as well. The difference here is that I don't put down those who advocate for the non-human voiceless by trying to elevate my own standing by my work in soup kitchens.

  • Comment removed

  • @rosepetal108 I received your deleted comment in my inbox, rose. "Just more Vegan propaganda. Wold hunger is a socio political economic problem, not a problem of supply. We currently produce more than enough food to feed every man woman and child in the world."

  • @askalice50 I removed it and posted it again because of a typo and YouTube doesn't allow the edit function. LOL Couldn't you see the corrected post?

  • @rosepetal108 Guess I missed it. You don't fascinate me that much.

  • @askalice50 Somehow that doesn't surprise me. Very few Vegans are actually interested in the truth at all.

  • @rosepetal108 The comment you removed: "@askalice50 Absolutely not. My original post was about the false assumption Vegans make that if everyone on the planet would stop eating meat it would somehow magically end World Hunger. This simply isn't true. Just more Vegan propaganda. Wold hunger is a socio political economic problem, not a problem of supply. We currently produce more than enough food to feed every man woman and child in the world."

  • @rosepetal108 The starved people do not eat enough calories, had they had enough rice to eat they would not be starving and such be healthy. The facts are simple however, by the food you feed up 1 pound of cattle, you can feed 200 people. Milk is very harmful to the body, why would you want to add that in the first place? Now, there is enough food available for the starving people, they simply can`t afford it, so it is an entierly different context and discussion.

  • @Mekelsior Well except for the milk and calories part you are right. World hunger is a political socio economic issue not a problem of supply.

Milk is one of those things that depends on your ethnicity. Nutritionally, especially for children, some kind of animal products are important. Cultured milk products solves the ethnicity issue.

  • @rosepetal108 Milk is actually the most unhealthy substance that we consume, and there is a lot of science to support this. Watch the presentation by Prof, Walter J. Veith called Udderly Amazing. There are also pages such as nomilk DOT org. Problem with milk are numerous, it is the cause of diabetes type 1 for example, promotes cancers, and drains calcium from the body causing osteoporosis.

  • @HippieHunter357 HippieHunter, you live in the US. Have you considered that land used to grow grain and soy to feed 10 livestock could feed 100 people? I see by your channel that you live in a "first class" country. Think. Vegans don't want to "stop the production of food." Sure, god damn the world, but we're not just hippies any more. Put the brakes on and look around.

  • @askalice50 Look around? You look around. The world isn't going to last much longer. Between idiots wanting to regulate our choice in what we eat and idiots wanting to regulate us into extinction, it's time to stop with the bullshit. You're not going to change the way anyone eats. If anything, trying to stop people from eating what they desire is going to lead to very, very hard feelings.

  • @HippieHunter357 Is that your concern? What you want to eat? Is THAT what's going to end the world? Wow, just wow. There really isn't much hope for the world if you haven't seen what the environmental degradation of the lust for resources - oil, wood, LAND FOR GRAZING, urban sprawl, et al. But we ARE just talking about your stomach and what you want to put in it. So sorry about the very, very hard feelings.

  • @askalice50 Well can I eat your meat?

  • nope, ignorance is not cool,

    ignorance is bliss.

  • If we weren't meant to eat meat, we wouldn't have been born with the means to do so.

  • vegans remind me of a pile of steaming turds.

  • Where do you get the idea none vegans think humans are carnivores? I believe humans are meant to be omnivores, obviusly people can survive on a herbavores diet, and on a carnivores diet. I just believe neither is a as natural as a balanced diet of animal products aswell as plenty of plants.

  • What a wannabe vegan... Shut up girl!

  • Haha began smokes

  • Wow you're really good at defeating your own standpoint, Vegan Witch... holding that cigarette in your hand lmfao. Do some fucking research on the tobacco industry and it's effect on animals!

  • Mmm, honey basted ribs

  • The truth is this guy isn't going to listen to your arguments; he wants to make you angry. When you respond to them in a video, you give them what they want. They want you to respond to them. The whole point of trolling is to cause the recipient angry and when it does they win. Don't let them win. Don't respond to them and than they will move on to someone else.

  • Vegetarianism is a Joke, I agree with the guy your talking about. Besides, he didn't start posting vids against Vegetarianism, until you guys start posting them, he is replying to your comments.

  • lol wow she is smoking. For smoking doesn't kill any animals at all, and it does not and i repeat not destory 1000 of animals enviroment in order to preduce tobacco. and the tobacco plant does not draw most of the nutrient out of the earth in order to grow.. Actually tobacco is probaly one of the biggest reason to animals being killed, enviroment being destroyed, enviroments which can't just grow back since tobacco draws everything out of the earth. You tiny woman, are just stupid ! :D

  • Im assuming you are European, British is my guess for now. I say this cause your teeth look like a tomato soup sandwich. (that implies they are fucked up, more gaps then a sheet of wide ruled sheet of notebook paper) Trolling is fun because you get pissed off, plain and simple and yes you got pulled into that. The idea of beingvegan is foreign to most and therefor a shitty plan.We <3 meat so to hell with that poor baby cow, whack it on the head and shovel it onto my grill.

  • Is it a European thing to have fucked up teeth? Dental plans non-existant there? In short meat is freakin tastey.

  • But Ignorance is Bliss

  • ur skin looks flowless like mine. vegan-like. i think every vegan has perfekt skin. i dont get wrinkels even though i smoke 30 ziggarets a day!

  • @johmarie7 I guess your vegan cause you care about the animals? but how can you care about them if you kill them by smoking?

  • Your smoking during this video?..... Really your part of the "Healthy VEGAN LIFESTYLE" but you smoke -.-

  • @mainvideos2009 but the smoking wont show up in her skin. i should know! :D haha

  • Vegans smoking cigarettes how fucking lame.Dont kill the animals just kill yourselves with cigs, tobacco farms pollute the environment and kill animals, fish and plants. She dont eat meat but she sure likes the bone

  • Comment removed

  • @deadreck024 Who cares? Let her do what she wants to do to herself. That is her choice. The animals who suffer in factory farms because people "have" to have meat, have no choice. She is making a compassionate choice and sacrificing what tastes good for something other than herself. That is beautiful, but unfortunately it's a foreign concept to most... watch "From Farm to Fridge" or "Earthlings" (free on youtube) for a better perspective on where she is coming from. Smoking doesn't compare.

  • @deadreck024 as long as they're American Spirits, they're actually vegan - they don't include animal products or test on animals. If they're Marlboros, then yes, I agree with you.

  • @deadreck024 Dude she is a typical hipster vegan....the worst kind of vegan. Lamest people on the planet!

  • We should all eat babies.

  • you look a bit pale... when is the last time you had a good meal?

  • Vegans are fagets, that is all.

  • Vegans and Vegetarians can eat what ever they want. I will eat what I want...but when Someone tells me I can't eat what, for any reason whatsoever, that's not cool.....

  • "well I must be slipping then" love it!!! you go girly!!!

  • Vegans are lame.

    Animals are tasty.

    end.

  • @meercat666 "Vegans are lame"... elaborate, why? "Animals are tasty" not all of them but, so what? "end"= poor arguments... congratulations, what is really lame here is your short poorly elaborated comment...

  • @DocStrange0123 (you posted): " "Vegans are lame"... elaborate, why?"

meercat666 hasn't elaborated, I will endeavor in his stead.

I'll change the focal-point to "Evangelical Proactive Smug Know-It-All Haughty Externally-Fixated Vegan Activists" are lame..... because they haven't adopted the simple wisdom "to remove the log from their own eye before they remove the splinter from their neighbor's eye."

They are lame in their lack of simple self-reflection.

    They're lame incompetent activists.

  • I'm not anti-vegan. I'm anti-illegal organization.

The main reason I don't eat vegan is that it's just not my style, but I won't let anyone have it for passing on the Thanksgiving turkey. I will, however, give someone both barrels should they decide that I'm not eating meat. Only I am fit to make that choice.

  • if your vegan, cool. keep it to yourself. no one else cares. kill it n' grill it.

  • @buckslayer870 If you are not, cool. Keep it to yourself. no one else cares, right?.. oh wait, then why did you watch this vid then? you don't care, right? just passing by to say that no one cares? what's the point? I wasn't aware that your highness speaks for everybody from now on...

  • Wohhh...okay I am confused...is that a cigarette ? the Tobacco company is one of the biggest industrys that tests on Animals....Very Not Vegan....I see this video is a couple of years old..So i very much hope you have stopped smoking by now, and if not i really wish you would..

  • i dont hate vegans unless they want to force me out of my human nature same goes with religious people

  • Straw-man argument from the troll. There is a HUGE difference between thinking animals have the right to not be imprisoned & slaughtered on farms, and making them totally equal citizens held to same laws. Lion committing murder would be excused, as we make exceptions for crimes committed to survive, like self-defense & duress. Those things aren't part of a vegan's actual position, so he's arguing against a straw-man. I argue AGAINST vegans usually, but this time I'm with you.

  • Comment removed

  • She's also "high" or drunk.. I don't really care - there is NO wisdom here. Some of the so called "Vegans" really need a therapy. These tree huggers, animal activists and the lot seem to forget that there are millions of homeless humans, even more there are starving HUMANS, and these numbskulls that it is right to abuse their freedom of speech to spread their crap among the normal people who actually care about what's going on the world. Veganwitch: - You need to get a life!

  • @DrunkRubberDuck It takes 16 pounds of grain to produce one pound of flesh. The meat-based diet is largely to blame for the starving human population. We choose to farm huge amounts of grain to all of the animals we use for food instead of feeding all the starving humans on this earth. If we stopped breeding farmed animals and grew crops to feed humans instead, we could easily feed everyone on the planet. Go do your research and stop being an embarrassment of the human race.

  • oops... wrong word usage...

should not be: "promoting human disease"... LOL (what a dullard)

    should be: "circumvent human disease".

  • Stupid anglo bitch. Not only is there no health benefit to veganism, but you're not getting all your nutrients! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!

  • LOOK !! Lets all just stop the bickering and talk this out over a nice hot CHEEZBURGER!!!!

  • LOL... so sad... so, so sad for the plight of the lonely vegan.

    But then again,

what martyr with any sense or dignity (or effectiveness)

    refuses to account for

the trials and tribulations which accompany martyrdom?

All thug... no heart or brain.

(Thug) member of a religious organization of robbers and assassins in India. Devotees of the goddess Kali, Thugs waylaid and strangled their victims in a ritually prescribed manner. They were suppressed by the British in the 1830)

  • Hey Vegans!

Don't get crestfallen when you read the next post...

No, on second thought, go ahead. Get crestfallen.

A little factual morbidity in your diet might do you some good.

  • Woman buying a TV: Asked clerk, "Is it an Energy Star TV?"

    Clerk replied, "It doesn't matter."

Woman: "It does to me! I'm an environmentalist!"

Clerk: "Fossil fuels made the case on that TV. Sand was melted at 3000 deg. to make the screen. Copper made a mile wide crater in Montana. It's already an enviro-disaster. Saving 14 pence per month electricity won't change that."

    Woman: (dejected... stolen illusions)

Vegans, like all men... existing environmental disasters. What you gonna do to fix it?

  • @spruntfemalespray Uh, could you post your thoughts again, try to be a little clearer in the point your are trying to get across, I have no idea what you are talking about feller.

  • poor child...

adults find it necessary to do things that go against their sensibilities constantly.

Privileged children stand in the shelter of practical adults, bask in the freedoms given to them, have a choice as to whether they will do or not do things against their emotional sensibilities, and criticize the world from the confines of shelter.

You should just say thank-you to the adults... 'cause they give you a choice. Meat or 'taters.

Criticism from the sheltered....... sans dignity.

  • My friend Frank says "People need illusions."

I've never agreed. I believe people need to stop consuming lies, unfounded religiobeliefs, and propaganda. I think you are hungry for substance... not squishy emotional fabrications.

Frank, once again, appears to win this argument, but I don't accept it.

I believe there is a person of reason, beaten down and cowering in VW and DDAmy... and even in Prof. Marvel Francione... regardless of their begrudging nature. I'll still try to access it.

  • Wow!

DDAmy... I love words. in my post a moment ago, I used the word "pouter" at you.

As I often do, I went to see what Webster had to say about it.

The reference used the descriptive term "petulance".

I am reminded again of Mr. Clemens/Twain:

"The difference between the right word and the almost right word is like the difference between lightening and a lightening bug."

I'm persistent enough to eventually get it right. LOL!

  • So... any other Vegangelical/Evangelicals want to ply their malnutrified mind to actually reading a post before formulating a counterpoint?

It's like tornado stories... nobody is listening to anyone else while speaking... they are just salivating at the opportunity to speak THEIR tornado story (LOL so that they can be ignored while telling it.)

  • LOL... let's do this legal:

I do hereby formally apologize to The Veganic Witch and to DumbeldoresAmy for having made the grave error in judgement when I assumed they were persons of strength, character, and fortitude. I can now see the error in my ways, and will henceforth for perpetuity treat them with KID gloves to compensate for their frailty, shallowness, weak willedness, and dimwhittedness.

(I know I spelled dimwhit wrong, but I kinda' like the softened version... seems fitting)

  • Billy Joel at his best! His observation and empathy for FUTILE ACTIVISM It's called "Angry Young Man": There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plans He refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl And he's always at home with his back to the wall. He's proud of the scars and the battles he's lost He struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross And he likes to be known as the angry young man.
  • I have no time for childish displays of useless emotion.

I have plenty of time to try to help you evolve...

but the drinking of the water when you are lead to it is up to you.

you appear to be skimming posts without taking the time to actually read what is written.

Do you want me to proceed as though you are stupid?

  • You have no time? And you've been debating with me for how many days? You are 50 years old and you are not responsible enough to apologize.

I'm finished with this debate. It's going no where.

  • @DumbledoresAmy you posted: "You are 50 years old and you are not responsible enough to apologize."

    OK!

I appologise for not treating you like a shallow, weak, dimwhit.

  • @DumbledoresAmy when you and Veganic Witch and Professor Marvel Francione assume I have a moral flaw on the basis of my failing to share your personal moral perspective...

there isn't any difference between you folks and the folks who assume my moral deficiency because I don't share their Jesus fixation... or Allah, Vishnu, or_______ (fill in the blank a substitute for individually developed character)

hence the new operative term "Vegangelical".

  • @DumbledoresAmy for your sake, I asked my wife her opinion about the "Missing Father Figure"... and whether she thought that her missing father might have affected her identity crisis when she was twenty something, which manifested in faux hippie activism.

She replied, "I have never considered it from that perspective, but it makes sense."

I already know my former faux hippie sister agrees because we've discussed it in great length.

Rather than just being a pouter, consider the possibility.

  • @DumbledoresAmy so, the moral of the story is:

all your petulance will not change the facts as follows:

1-humanity needs access to cellulosic plants via ruminators just as sharks need access to krill through fish.

2-you and yours would streamline and specialize the dietary activities of humanity... and any brachiosaur will tell you that specialization is potentially dangerous.

3-it's a 5000 year old conflict... Cain vs Able (still fighting the fight of childhood humanity... kids vs necessity)

  • @DumbledoresAmy LOL (sad laugh) at you. Predictable child, two pages ago.

Proves (as predicted) that "IF YOUR AGENDA" isn't premier... if you are forced to come to terms with standing on shaky ground... if you are placed in a position of needing to adjust your focal point... if your privileged perspective is tweaked...

rather than being one to count-on in a humanitarian progression... you'll get peevish / petulant... pout and pet a pig.

I wouldn't talk down to you if it wasn't called for.

  • @DumbledoresAmy I see you...

laying in the fetal position... fingers in ears screaming, "LA! LA! LA! Can't hear you! LA! LA! LA!"

You posted, "... this debate. It's going no where."

If you are suggesting that it's stagnant per MY cause... I believe your skinny pointy finger is pointed the wrong way.

I'm not unsympathetic to your cause... your methodology sucks.

I'll strike a bargain. Convert 10% of the Masai Tribe to VEG... I'll follow.

You'll be long dead before then... so I'm safe.

  • @DumbledoresAmy I just had another idea... about your suggestion that grain is misappropriated in animal food and could feed people instead.

Let's take the grain, grapes, and 'taters used to make various forms of fermented spirits and use THEM to feed the world.

You suppose vegans would be willing to give-up their microbrews, vodka, and wine... to remove the hypocritical request from their inane dogma?

  • Billy Joel; AYM third stanza:

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage,

I've found that just surviving was a noble fight

I once believed in causes too, had my pointless point of view

Life went on no matter who was right or wrong.

  • Billy Joel; AYM... fourth stanza:

And there's always a place for the angry young man

With his fist in the air and his head in the sand

He's never been able to learn from mistakes

He can't understand why his heart always breaks

His honor is pure, and his courage as well

He's fair and he's true, and he's boring as hell

And he'll go to his grave as an angry old man.

  • LOL... as I told you. I am examining the hypothesis that all this outward attention seeking behavior and external focus is a consequence of having an absent father figure.

It's much more simple than you would like to believe.

Psychology only gets complicated when denial gets involved.

If you want me to assume that you are weak, shallow, and incapable of self examination, just say so.

  • Sympathy means to feel sorry for empathy means to feel for. Neither would have led you to bringing up her lack of father as a reason to dismiss for vegan arguments. You were being mean-spirited. There is no excuse for it. There is no reason for it. There is nothing respectable about it.

  • @DumbledoresAmy This is one of my favorite miscalculations... used in mundane last ditch efforts in an attempt to save face.

You posted: a person... is entitled to an opinion.

Major laughable bullshit. Just because you have the mental faculty to formulate an opinion, it doesn't automatically make you relevant.

You are entitled to weigh all issues from all angles... and come-up with the most effectual perspective... and THEN you can have justifiable relevance (an Entitled Opinion).

  • ... first focal point of recommended self-reflection...

    "YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL"

  • @destroyentropy "I don't want to survive! I want to live!" ~ Wall~E

Guess who else wants to survive and live? All animals. We all share that in common. What makes our lives more worth living then theirs?

  • @DumbledoresAmy you posted..."I don't want to SURVIVE! I want to live!" ~ Wall~E Guess who else wants to SURVIVE and live? All animals. We all share that in common.

You also posted... "My main point is this. We don't need to eat animal products to SURVIVE so to do so just for pleasure becomes are moral dilemma.

Do you not see the dichotomy in the two posts?

Vegans offer conventional longevity with spartan existence?

The answer is, "No!" You are welcome to exist as you choose.

    We say "No".

  • LOL... folks have to want change before they will change...

Vegangelicals have to be an enticing billboard... an object of envy... admirable.

I see no proper advertising methods.

Nobody comes away from a delicious Ford or Mac-and-Cheese commercial pissed of, and thinking that Ford drivers are a human perversion,

but I can't say the same for the agenda driven Vegan Ads.

  • @destroyentropy I feel like you are talking down to me and that rubs me the wrong way. You assume I am privileged and untraveled. With this reasoning, I'm guessing that you have traveled. If so, aren't you privileged as well?

  • @DumbledoresAmy never said that I'm not privileged... I know that I am.

Without enacting specific countermeasures to avoid it, privilege almost universally causes a person to have time to examine the splinter in the eye of their neighbor, while avoiding the rafter in their own.

    so... youthful proactivity fails.

    You like Billy Joel...

here you are with your faith and your Peter Pan advice

    I believed in causes, too

had my pointless point of view

I found just surviving is a noble fight

  • @destroyentropy "had my pointless point of view, I found just surviving is a noble fight" To me that says that you gave up. I think that's just sad. I'm not going to be beaten down. I have the survival part down! I'm a lucky gal! All that extra energy other people put into surviving I'm going to use to fix things. I have spirit. I'm not going to let it die.

  • @DumbledoresAmy LOL... keep your sadness to yourself. I have no time for such useless displays.

Have you ever read the lyric of the source of those quotes? Billy Joel's most poignant writing ever?

    It's called "Angry Young Man"

and it's about his EMPATHY... for activists... like you and VW.
