Funny video, but it does pose a good question. Which performance is better? I have to go w/ Plainview, but only by a hair. He's completely excellent in both movies, and both movies are excellent in and of themselves. But Daniel Plainview is just a fraction cooler than Bill. And by "cool" I mean awesome, big scene-chewing acting, not as in I'd like to emulate either character in the real world.

There has never been an actor who can do some many different, diverse voices. Its these type of things that set him apart from the American actors who play Americans 99% of the time. Hanks, DeNiro, Pacino all have instantly recognisable voices because they very rarely change them. It may only seem a small thing but the voice is just as important as facial expressions etc. I adore the actors I've listed above so I'm not having a pop just saying that DDL really is in a class of one.
