LOL, Android will not be the biggest. The Android phone market is so pathetic it's a joke. Most of the phones being released right now are 1.6, you can't upgrade them, they are full of shitty software that the phone maker is installing, some only have private stores, 20% of the apps are spyware/viruses, you have to install anti-virus protection, some have to deal with flash, and the apps suck.
If it does happen, it's going to take A LONG time, Google will probably have shut it down by then. Theres over 250k iOS activations a day, yup, gonna take awhile.

Just because Google isn't selling hardware doesn't mean they are any better than the others. They just make their money differently. You may not see an ads in Android but once you go use Google Search you will definantly see some paid results.
