I do agree theres a lot of plain stupid death metal lyrics but seriously, a different lyrical theme wouldn't change a fucking thing, other than the backphrases of shirts. actually Devourment went fro a more serious, darkened lyrical theme on the new cd. you won't find a lust for feces and people killing infants there.

lyrics dont bother me very much because i usually dont pay them any attention. the only issue with the lyrics or the song titles would be that i cant just walk up to a friend and recommend it and be like "hey buddy, check out this song, eatingdeadbabyshit. its fuckin cool man!" just cant do that plus i think it drags the band profit and record sales down. im glad they have matured a little in the lyrics. dark is better than disgusting. as far as flowers and puppies go, i totally agree.
