You're wrong too. The Marines don't get deployed first because they're better. If the DOD needed elite forces on the ground first, they'd send Special Forces / Delta Force. Oh wait, they do that. In order for the US ARMY to be deployed, their deployment must be approved by CONGRESS. In order for the US Marine Corps to be deployed, the President has to order them to go. Let me make it simple. Army needs Congress's permission. Marines don't. They're controlled by POTUS.

@chickenwheelsofdeath It all depends on what you want to do, If tech is your thing then air force or navy are best. If combat is your thing then Army Infantry, cavalry, and a few other jobs are best. If being the best of the best is your thing than there is NAVY SEALS and SWCC, AF Pararescue, Marine Recon, and Army Rangers and Special Forces. Army is the biggest and you will have the biggest bases. Air Force bases tend to be smaller but more located towards larger cities than the Army.
