Everyone, from my Irish grandmother to my Muskogee grandmother has white eyes...well some have red eyes, too...but there's mostly white. And the white shines better against dark skin than it does against light skin. I have one sister who has pale skin, another whose skin is dark. But both have WHITE EYES. So why call one white and the other not? Just curious.

The US Supreme court overturned in 2005 a ruling in 2001 that said they Native American land that is being purchased now can not be sovereign land. fortunately, not ALL "whites" had this same attitude. My European ancestors have been here since 1630. They settled and pioneered Eastern KY, TN and VA. They also intermarried with the natives and had a good life. Some of my family is also in Oklahoma via the Trail of Tears - others hid in the mountains of Eastern KY and still reside there. True, enough is not done by the US government for the Natives, but everything is being handed to the Mexicans - go figure!!!
