I live in Amsterdam, and i smoke on a regular basic, that didnt stop me from getting my masters degree and finishing college, during my education i was stoned constantly, but it did not affect my learning capabilities and it actually enhanced my concentration.

Just try it if you want to, it has different effects on everyone, but i think weed shouldnt be considered a drug, not anymore than alcohol, which damages your body WAY more than a blunt, just my 0.02.

When I dont smoke it (before I even tried it) I was always incredibly fidgety and my mind wandered all the time. After a few (light) joints alone in my room, I find it easy to type out some really good work, and without it, my dissertation probably would never have been finished.
