we have soft shelled turtles in south jersey and we caught two small ones in the raritan river.my freinds have pictures.the turtles are about the size of a dinner plate.how did they get here to jew jersey usa? are they native here but not that big? i once seen a loggerhead freshwater about 3 1/2 miles upstream of the brachish line in low water.there were beds of lamprey and blue claw crabs.this was a deacade ago,the crabs and eels dont run like they used to.why jeremy?help save the raritan river
