@DieZweiGameTester Once Valkyrie will be out in HD and Full HD (both are scheduled for Q1 or 2012), you'll be able to freely transfer your save games between all versions of Galaxy on Fire 2. You can then continue one and the same game on the Mac, continue it on the iPhone 4 and finish it on the iPad 2, for example.

@ishkuhl Cheers! We will definitely release a GOF2 version for Windows PC as well. However, there are still a lot of issues we gotta solve first, so it'll still take some time until we can reveal any concrete news. But we're already working on it and will keep you posted as soon as we can. Oh, and many thanks for the nice words about GOF2 HD. We really put a lot of hard work into it and it's great to hear that you enjoy the game's enhanced graphics and high definition visuals! :)

@thebikerboi2 Sorry, but the iPhone 4 doesn't have the required capacities to run GOF2 HD properly. Hence we only recommend it to iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users. If you got an iPhone 4, you'd better stick with the SD version of the game, which looks pretty nice as well and runs perfectly smooth on your device.

@fishlabsgames to be honest i was a little surprised that my iphone 4 was even able to run it. GOF 2 HD runs within perfectly aceptable levels on my iphone, even on full graphics. i was just wondering if valkyrie would be suported on the iphone 4 when the ypdate gets released.

This is a great game, but I feel as though the character profile artwork doesn't fit the feel of the rest of the game. It just seems awkward to meet a winking Vossk asking me if I want to buy some alcohol from him. When the third game is released it would be great if the different races had their own dialogue sets so as to fit thier own character. Make the Vossk more serious! Make the Octopods more sleazy! If GoF3 had as story as engaging as the visuals and the gameplay I would gladly pay $50.00

@fishlabsgames So, I have the full HD version on my Mac and I have to say, it is one of the most visually spectacular games I've ever played. Ever. I would love to know when the full HD Valkyrie expansion will be available and what the pricing will be. I also noticed an empty slot on the Galaxy On Fire website. Does this imply a third GoF in the making?

It is a truly immersive and deep game for ios standards and leaves all other games being 3 min wonders whilst this has longevity. My love is for deep trade markets like eve online. I have not played valkryie and so cannot comment on the blackmarket system until hd version comes. My question is will the gof3 have a extremely deep trading system?

I don't know why y'all haven't looked into console versions or console games if y'all can make a great game for a mobile device even the regular version is better (my opinion) than most of games that are released on console/mobile devices

With that in mind, your words mean all the more to us. Thank you! As for a console-release of Galaxy on Fire, well, there are no concrete plans yet, but we want to make our games available on as many platforms as possible in the future, so there's always a chance that the game might get a console-porting someday.

Find it annoying i paid £7 again for this game to get in hd, should have been free upgrade to those who already bought the game or reduced price. Grumbles aside, there is no doubt that the galaxy on fire 2 game is the BEST game you can buy on an ios device. Not quite at eve online level but i hope galaxy on fire 3 hd will be closer with a detailed trade system.

@bluedragonis Thanks for the nice words & glad to hear you like GOF2 that much! Unfortunately, there is no way we could give away the game in HD for free or put it in the 99 Cent category, because the development, porting and the complete makeover of the graphics took a lot of time and effort (five man-years of work went into the making of the HD version) and a rather small developer like Fishlabs can't just write off that much money... I hope you understand our position in that matter.

I love how they actually updated the graphics to true PC quality whereas developers like Gameloft just release crappy low-res ports of their mobile games without any real visual updates.

@holman733 Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything. In terms of story and gameplay, the HD version is the same as the regular version. The only thing that has changed in terms of gameplay is the possibility to freely regulate your ship's speed in the HD version. But we'll also make that feature available for the regular version with one of the next updates... :)
