Because Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaj has stated clearly what a Sikh is in Guru Granth Sahib, he has stated that his Sikh shall rise in the hours of Amritvela and after bathing conteplate the name of God. THAT IS SIKHI, just having a beard and long hair means nothing, the principles of sikhi are NAAM JAPOO, KIRT KAROO & VHAND SHAKOO.

Sikhs have mostly been force converted by muslims, of course HIndus can say something but they d this on Buddhists as well we dont take that from Hindus violently because everyone have their opinion and right to express it. Thats not exactly true. Jatts are a race in their own right. I think u need to read up more on ur history before making such statements. It's a know fact that when many Jatt clans converted to sikhism, Jatts became the force behind sikhism. Especially in Maharaja Ranjit Singh's army. Jatts aren't confined to one religion, but are also hindu and Muslim. Jatt isn't a label either,it's actually a name of a tribe of people,who invaded northern India (primarily Punjab) as a part of the Hun invasions
