  • ANCHE IO VOGLIO COMPRARE UN TRITONE COME QUESTO, MI PIACCIONO TROPPO

  • i had two of these and they never ate...they eventually starved themselves too death...but I was just informed 2day that they like to eat live black worms...i used to feed (try) them earthworms, store bought pellets, and bloodworms...the only thing they attempted to eat was the bloodworms...

  • @J8Lacy I'm sorry to hear they died. I've never heard of this before so I wonder if maybe they were sick? In any case it's very sad. I fed mine only bloodworms too. One time they ate some fishflakes when I ran out of bloodworms.

  • Is it dangerous to make a skin contact with them?

  • @gibbysummerboy87 Their skins are toxic and may cause sickness if handled and then hands are not washed before eating. But of course that goes for any living creature, wash your hands after handling to prevent the spread of germs.

  • @LieStef thanks for the info! I just bought two of them..but they seems like not growing a bit...how big is these little fellas can get?

  • @LieStef And before so you don't hurt them.

  • @RoastedHippyDogs Before what?

  • @LieStef Handling them.

  • @RoastedHippyDogs Oh yeah, for sure! We're just as toxic to them! (Sorry your reply hadn't shown up in the order of the conversation so that's why I didn't get it!)

  • @LieStef Is he Japanese or Chinese?

  • All watch my first video about amphibians :)

  • thx dude your the best

  • wahat should i feed my newt? i tried blood worms and its been alive for 5 days so do you think its eating the worms??? plz reply thx

  • I'm sure it is! They love bloodworms! They don't need a lot to survive, they'll eat only what they need, when they need!

  • my friend had 2 of these.... they got into a fight and one bit the others throat out....the other died like a few days later lol....

  • Yeah, I had a pair prior to these ones and one bit the other's arm off! He lived for a few days after that.

  • hey i just got one like that it a small one they gave me some newt & salamander bites but it tho sent seem to eat them can some one tell me why

  • Hmm...I'm not sure why not but it could be something simple like they're not hungry yet? Try frozen bloodworms, they really love them!

  • can they live with baby soft shelled turtles

  • No, the turtles will eventually eat them! It's best to keep them on their own.

  • why did the newt cross the road?

  • I don't know, but I'm dying to find out!! :-)

  • Cus he knew!

  • Sorry about this but i must tell you about my other dog .i called it cigarette because it had no legs .i used to take it out for a drag.

  • 5 gallon.

  • Dado its an funny name xD

  • He was named after Dado Prso, a Croatian football player who played for Glasgow Rangers! I called the other one Drago, to keep with the Slavic theme! :-)

  • where do you get these?

  • Any good aquatic pet store should have them, althought it depends on the season. Generally, they're more available during the summer months.

  • Thanks. Yeah, I don't like too much clutter otherwise you can't see the newts! I don't think they like it either.

  • please reply fast: is it better to feed them on land or water?they cabnt find the food on land and wont eat blood worms . he loafs allllllll day on his drifwood.please reply fastor shoudl i feed him something else???? please reply fast

  • They DO eat the bloodworms - mine wait until the light is out! Don't worry, they DO eat it. Sometimes I give them regular fish flakes too and they eat that, but again, when the light is out. I always drop it into the water.

  • errr, dont feed him fish flakes, cos it contains vegetal and newts can eat it, and that could kill it

btw: sorry my bad english :-)

  • Really? The pet store said it was fine! I've had them for 4 years now - but I haven't fed them fishflakes for a LONG time!

Thanks for the information! And your English is great! :-)
