  • lol no balls for speed ?^^

  • what was the top speed, I'm curious, please

    110-120 km/h ?

  • @Spaha93 I think it was around 140 km/h

  • @marchettino nice

  • @Spaha93 150-160

  • I feel like a passenger!

  • Nice laps...what's your job??

  • Your 500 Abarth is really cool. It makes a lovely noise too.

  • I believe this camera angle makes it look like your going slower than you really are. I could hear tire squeal but it looks like you could ride a bicycle that fast in the corners.

  • Was that filmed with a GoPro ? i like the footage, seems to be the right track for your car ! Still you would be much faster if you would get the corner entry point right, so you wouldn't have to correct your steering three times inside the corner getting understeer. And also try to rev-match the engine while downshifting using heel and toe...Beside that, great video ! Enjoyed it very much

  • @TheGetawayer Yes GoPro HD Motorsports, thanks for your comment, yes i know i could have driven much faster (and better), but it was my 1st time on dry track, hope to drive better next time!

  • Brembo brakes are the shit!

  • keep up the good work bro..btw, any idea when is the ferrari enzo successor coming out?

  • @feverNpain999 Thanks! I think in 2013? I will go to Maranello as the first mules will come out on the road.

  • how's the 500 abarth on the curves? does it roll much?

  • Very impressive, and your gear changing is so spot on :D

  • really great car you got there

  • Man I really love your vids! liked and faved. keep it up!

  • @72MBH Thanks!

  • Very well done mate...!

:) in questa configurazione potrebbe quasi piacermi ;) ottima auto, complimenti!

  • dang mate something improtant that yu must buy for your fiat ,500by gucci accesories lol you have to look on their site

  • EsseEsse?

  • Awesome footage! How is the Abarth on the track? Stiff enough to handle with understeer?

  • @marchettino I was considering this or the Cooper S. What do you think?r

  • @MyQwerty010 The Cooper S is better than the Abarth, when i had to buy a car i wasn't even considering to buy one because i think the Abarth is more exciting to me, the JCW edition is a badass Mini.

  • @marchettino and the mini is for kids abarth is for grown men

  • Oh Grand Turismo 5 !!! xD

  • i saw a commercial on tv for this, i guess they're starting to sell fiats in america?

  • @RollyU Oh yes, the Abarth is coming in the USA in 2012.

  • Love the video...Great driving and useful information since I was considering buying a 500 Abarth. Nice to know it can sound so good.

  • @marchettino Don't speak Italian, though I wish I did but I could kind of understand that through a translator...and yeah I love a good exhaust upgrade on any car.

  • Nice camera angle!

  • i see nothing wrong with his driving ofcourse the kids would expect him to burst into a corner with 300kph and change gear in 100miliseconds and put nos to boost power all in a time of 5 seconds

  • u know how to drive, really !! nice post, tk´s

  • are track days expensive?

  • @smosherx as far as i know not really they cant be more then 5euros a lap

  • need more lesson bro..but thats also fast enough :)

  • You seem to be extremely nervous because I saw tight apex lines and twitchy steering wheel movement

  • Great stuff Marco!

  • Very nice! Trackdays are always fun. :) Have you done any other modifications to the car besides the new brakes?

    -G.B.

  • @ferrarilovr Yes, i have also ECU upgrade, BMC sport filter, H&R spring, stainless steel muffler and 200 cells kat.

  • @marchettino like but you should change H&R with original Eibach... u will feel the difference ;)

  • Good driving there marchettino!

Man i love those little fiat 500, awesome and fun car to drive ;)

Dont mind those stupid coments that are probably made by some 15 year old kids that play too much Need for Speed lol

Keep up the good work m8.

  • Lol you can't expect him to drive any better... it's his personal car which I doubt he wants to push to the limit while at the same time being safe. Let's not forget it's a 175HP car and not a twin turbo 12 cylinder aswell... Good job Marchettino, video was very entertaining nonetheless.

  • @matty2k001 Thanks for your comment. Well you have to consider it's a small car and with 175hp it's very very fun to drive. If you're not afraid of the risk you can crash you can drive as fast as you can. I have to say, i was trying to do my best but i was pretty disappointed. That day i made a 2nd session on track with a copilot who taught me the trajectories and a good braking points, and i drove much faster than here. Next time i will drive at Imola track, hope for a decent result :)

  • @marchettino Nice Vid. Fantastic Camera position!!! You drive with both hands and let the hand only for shifting from the steering wheel, thats very good. The ideal line on the track is not the best but practice makes the master. The most importand thing is that you should learn heel and toe. You can practice this every day on the streets.

Thx for the Vid and greetings from Germany.

  • @V8Roehrldrifter Thanks! Yes i wasn't driving very good, i drove a few weeks ago again on track and i will upload some videos, and i was definitely driving much better than here. I did also some heel toe, i'm learning to do it correctly ;)

  • Amazing ride bro ! cheers =D

  • Great sound ! :D

  • Nice! Would you recommend the Abarth? I'm considering purchasing one (for non-race purposes).

  • damn, i wanna go on a race track too, but not with my ford, i want my dads bmw xD

  • Ignore the haters man. 2nd lap looked great.

  • do a burnout :D

  • @MrDesigner11 Sure, now go back to play Need For Speed while i drive in a real racetrack.

  • @marchettino haha nice ;)

  • @MrDesigner11 go drag race with your prius or something.

  • @MrDesigner11 give me her phone number then, she MILF ? bet she is. jackass -_-

  • @MrDesigner11 Your mom drove me home a few times...she's not that good.

  • @MrDesigner11 your mom rides cocks, not cars...

  • @Betaops252 but his car isn´t bad too ;)

  • @jesussancheztello I hope your grandma is called Sabine Schmitz.

  • @marchettino ahahh great answeer XD

  • @marchettino, I think I'm in love with your Abarth. I've seen the outside of it, love the sounds of the exhaust, and that red interior is just beautiful. Great choice job. This video was great fun to watch too. :) Seems like a fun little hatchback.

  • @ExGGU Thanks, and glad you like my car, indeed it's very fun to drive, i will make some more videos in the future!

  • do you have an esseesse?

  • @martijn5244 It's a standard Abarth but with many mods on it and it's faster than an SS

  • why aren't there any other cars on the track? I've only seen one other car

  • @lwkleijn Yes there were other Abarths on track, i decided to put on YouTube 3 laps without traffic because after there were always cars and we were driving slower than here.

  • Cool video Marchettino. Was definitely fun to drive ;)

  • nice driving skills, a person like you deserves a Ferrari

  • You made driving this look so easy

  • I love your Abath, it's a cool little car.

  • Ayrton Senna - Honda NSX @ Suzuka

    will learn from this video

  • You're gonna need a new clutch if you keep downshifting like that. Heel-toe it man!

  • @MadCat360 Why do i need that? I'm not doing powerful braking, the abs works perfectly, i'm not driving at high speed.

  • @marchettino The difference in gear speed can cause a lot of stress to your drive line when there is a high RPM difference, especially going from say 4K RPM to 6500 RPM on a downshift at the track. It eats diffs, clutches, and dog rings. Besides, it's fun to heel-toe!

  • where is the backfire?/10

  • nice drive...I really like Varano! +1

  • great driving marco ;)

  • i love ur car GOD!!!

  • That's a great camera angle to shoot from.

  • great driving man..and the car drives very smooth..whats under the hood and stuff?

  • @xXxDarkyLightxXx Thanks, the engine is a 1.4l turbo engine with around 170-175hp, in the other comment you can read all the mods on the car. A stock Abarth has 135hp.

  • @marchettino thats nice...one more question if you'd like to answer please.. how much did you pay for the car + upgrades ?

  • @xXxDarkyLightxXx Brand new almost 19k €, then i have about 3k € of mods, including also some carbon fibre components in the car. After the summer i think i will install a new turbo.

  • @marchettino i've just seen the top gear's movie about the abarth you own and it's impresive , looks like jeremy loves your car

  • @xXxDarkyLightxXx Yes he loves these kind of little fast cars, they're very fun to drive!

  • @jesussancheztello yout grandmother drives cocks

  • How many cars do you actually have? BTW, the car sound is a beauty.

  • I saw a Fiat 500 in America

the idea of a new Fiat in America is exciting to me

  • you can buy the Fiat 500 in Canada, but what is the Fiat 500 Arbarth? is it a special package for it?

  • @richmond24 Abarth is the tuner of Fiat, like AMG for Mercedes. It's a more sporty and faster version than the standard 500. It's coming in 2012 in USA and Canada.

  • @marchettino I doubt its coming in 2012, because I live in Puerto Rico and the other day I saw a Fiat 500 standard, recognized it because of the tiny round head lights, and Puerto Rico is considered a state, so probably they're already bringing some of them to the states including Puerto Rico.

  • is that AWD?

  • @GTRF4N FWD

  • @marchettino thats shit man you should put RWD or AWD! thats an awsome car would AWD it would be even better!

  • really nice! :)

  • @patf40 'stardo! :D

  • hey Marchettino, nice vid man, have you considered driving for Mclaren?? :) also, why don't you listen to any music while you drive!!! LOL!!

  • Great video Marco! Really nice driving! How many horsepower does your Abarth has? What's the topspeed of the Abarth?

  • When he saw the other 500 he started to push :)

  • Thumbs up if you want Marchettino as a F1 pilot! :)

  • One thing I noticed you did multiple times is you hit the brakes and came into the corners a bit too slow, and you kept a lower speed through them. As you start to exit a turn, start accelerating. It's very helpful sometimes.

  • good driving- just ry to be a bit moother- this car has a short wheel base so on the tight turns you can really whip it around

  • marchettino you have a 500 Abarth? xDDDD This car is like a toy

  • @astrolopitequs23

I wouldn't say that , you can't go faster for less money I can assure you.

    sounds great too

  • @hendrixexperiencedig Trust me , you can go much much quicker for that amount of money , even if we are talking about strictly brand new cars... Twingo is much cheaper , almost as quick on the straights and with much better chassis and Clio is as expensive as Abarth but miles faster and better for sport driving...

  • @RenaultSport133 The Clio RS is a lovely car, very very good chassis, but for the engine i prefere the turbo of the Abarth

  • @marchettino I would have to agree on that , much more torque and wider powerband makes it easier to go fast on the roads , on the track it doesnt matter as much because you are constantly above 4,5k rpm , one thing I hate about the Abarth is the numb and sloppy steering , shame about that because the rest of the car is really good

  • very smooth driving!!!!

  • max speed?

  • @CSSbion1cc Around 160km/h in the straight

  • @marchettino Hai sbagliato a scrivere Marco ? Davvero "solo" 160 con un'Abarth ? Cavolo pensavo di più..

(oppure intendi la vel.max raggiunta in pista).

  • @PuntoEvoForumcom Si mi riferisco in pista nel rettilineo, forse avrei dovuto specificare :D

@CSSbiion1cc i mean 160km/h in the straight in this video!

  • @marchettino Eh eh infa.. complimenti per l'auto ;)

  • you need to improve on braking and turning :) dont be shy to use bumps, especially with dry circuit. Study the trajectories to best use all the road and let the car exit turning smooth and clear ;) great car for track day, congratulations !!

  • @absolute3d86 Yes i completely agree. I wasn't satisfied about this session because i was braking early, because they were new and more powerful and i had to get used to the more power of the brakes. I made another session that day with a friend copilot and he taught me the trajectories, i drove much faster and i was more confident with myself, in the straight i started to brake at 70m.

  • Nice video! Seems like a fun car to drive :-)

  • How many euros does cost a track's rent per one day ? Not bad, btw. I would to buy & drive a bit used M5 (E34) instead your Rocket :)) (for same money)

  • @AndreyPurtov It depends, it's quite expensive to drive on track, i think that 50 euros for 30 minutes of driving is cheap, usually you have to spend at least 70 or also 150 euros per 30 minutes.

  • @marchettino, thanks :)

  • Nice Drive !! love your Abarth Tributo ! ;)

  • My favorite circuit and car.

  • awesome! +3

  • You were being very tame with your car weren't you? (;

  • @TheKiwiLord You think i was driving smoothy? :D

I wasn't very satisfied by my driving in this session, that day i made a 2nd session with a friend as copilot, he taught me some more things about the driving on track and i was faster than here.

  • Nice camera angle i felt like i was in your Abarth riding with you.

  • @marchettino

I meant that you could've pushed it a lot more, for instance later braking (:.

You follow very nice driving lines, and have an awesome car. Those go like go-karts.

(I wouldn't drive it any other way, pushing a car to the limit that is yours to drive around with daily is not sensible of course.) (:

  • made in Poland :)

  • Bullet !!!!! In Monaco it's your ?

  • @bugattiincroyable Yes it's the car i used for the onboard video in Monaco

  • nice :D

  • Nice car inside and out! Great driving! ;)

  • to you modified something on car?

  • @dany199555 Yes i have some mods: ECU upgrade, Brembo brakes, BMC sport filter, H&R spring, stainless steel muffler and 200 cells kat.

  • @marchettino So its a n/a (naturally aspirated) engine? for having the engine so small is quite powerful.

  • @elchicoboy It's turbo ;)

  • @marchettino ohh, no wonder hahaha. I saw your upgrades but didn't saw a turbo upgrade. I hope you know the turbo peak descends while you're having more rpm's. As in, the turbo peak is 15 psi, I don't know in bars. You should consider changing your turbo too unless is after market. Since its a tiny car with tiny engine, then its not problem having the turbo peak faster. Maybe upgrading the turbo to a 16g one will help even if psi/bars are the same. But really nice its turbo, I wonder how much $?

  • @elchicoboy The boost of the stock Abarth is 0.8-1 bar, the SS 1-1.2, mine with the ECU upgrade goes up to 1.4 bar. Yes i'm planning to install a new turbo after the summer, i will go for the Garrett1548 i think, going up to 205hp, that's not an expensive turbo, in the USA the price is around 650$, then i have to buy some more components for the engine, i think that with less than 2k € i can go up to 205hp.

  • @marchettino That's pretty nice, best way is not excess the hp to 250-260 or more because you will have lots of problem with wheel spin, specially on curves that I might think you will need your car for (Track, Circuit). But 205hp for a 1.4 litre car is perfect, is more than I expected. Thanks for your response Marchettino, keep it up!

  • Nice driving Marco!!

  • Great driving skills! :D

    Michael Schumacher2 :P

  • Nice interior!

  • great sound ! This looks so fun..i wish i could take my car to a track..

  • Aww the noise gets me rowdy.

  • Nice :)

  • wow! this little Fiat can really move! :D

  • nice sound !!
