  • THANK YOU! YOU ARE TRULY A CRAZY BAD CUBER!!!! :)

  • The cube i asked about

    This is my other channel

  • what kind of 3x3 was that it looked really good

  • @BossPuzzles in the beginning? It was a white Dayan Zhanchi

  • @crazybadcuber thanks :) is that the fastest you have?

  • @BossPuzzles is what the fastest I have?

  • it's like a mastemorphix

  • @YoungBoyGreatPlans yes. It's just like any 3x3 shape mod. I personally find them very easy because it's just a 3x3 cube but some people get tripped up because of the shapes =)

  • I did a close up example solve several months ago... but didn't entirely explain it :P

okay now show people the morphegg, diamond, and star 3x3's.

  • Not sure if you know this or not, but when you have a line on top, you can do F R U R' U' F' to go directly to a cross.

  • @xxoxia yeah I knew that, I was trying to make it easier for people to remember by just giving them one algorithm.

  • That's a crazy puzzle. I've never actually seen one of these in motion before.

  • Does anyone know where I can get an Axis Cube in the UK?

  • @jonni928 - I THINK lightake has them. If not, you can get one from cube depot or icubemart.

  • @jonni928 I believe at lighttake it is just 7 dollars, and the site is free shipping worldwide.

  • I have a suggestion to give you, though unrelated to this video.

If you are going to buy a Mini Dayan+Mf8 4x4, buy it in white. Mf8 makes better quality plastic in white.

  • @ColteeYT That is a myth. If a company is making a product that is different colours of the same material, the only difference in the material is the colour. So when I company uses plastic, they get these kinda milky white/transparent plastic pellets and they melt it down and dye it with white or black or whatever colour they need. Exact same plastic and quality just different colour. I know this because I used to work in a plastics facility that used to do just that =)

  • @crazybadcuber That's weird beacuse i've seen convinsa's new video and her mini dayan+mf8 4x4 was white and turned well out of the box, her old black one was stiffer.

  • @ColteeYT I figured that's where you got the info from. The tensions on a cube and whether it's lubed or not is what makes a cube stiffer than the next one. Her black one probably had bad tensions and was stiff because no lube. My guess is that because those cubes were given to her to review, the store owner probably lubed and tensioned the cube so it would get a very good initial reaction. If I was a store owner I'd probably do that for sure =)

  • @crazybadcuber Oh.

Well, if you are planning to buy one, i can tell you how to lube it.

You have to disassemble the ball core to reach the 2x2 core wich you lube with lubix as usual. Then you can tension it properly.

By the way, ball cores do not react to tensioning as you would expect. Tighter is better.

  • @ColteeYT yeah I doubt I'll get one just because it's a ball core. I don't like ball core puzzles. If I do get one, it'll be strictly just to review for youtube.

  • @crazybadcuber I believe ball cores do not have 2x2 cores inside of them. This cube has a double core, and i'm assuming you wouldn't buy it because the ball core doesn't allow cutting. Well, that's not the case. Mine can cut like a DREAM. And doesn't pop either.

  • @crazybadcuber - The Dayan MF8 puzzles aren't actually ball cores like a Rubik's 4x4, they're just ball shaped shells around a 2x2 core, like the Dayan 4x4. That's not really a ball core, but for some reason (I guess because of the shape) people call it a ball core.

  • @crazybadcuber @colteeyt - Actually, white and other colored plastic is made with softer plastic while black is some kind of ABS / PVC mix. That's why the blacks aren't as good. Calvin from HK now can explain it better. He explained it to me, but I can't remember exactly what he said.

  • @xxoxia that seems weird to me because I've worked in a plastics plant before and we used to distribute plastic to places and it's always just raw plastic pellets that are like milky white/transparent things and then we'd also ship the dye. People use the same plastic but just dye it all different colours. There are different kinds of plastics but I find it hard to believe that a company would use two different kinds for the same kind of puzzle instead of just dying different colours.

  • you should get the 3x3x8 magic cube

  • If the last center needs to rotate 180 degrees, do this algorithm: (R U R' U) * 5

  • To put the pieces in at 10:00 , its just like the beginners method on the 3x3 when you put the edge piece in the second layer aka its the same algorithm

  • @BasCuber yes i know but not everybody has the same algorithms for the beginners method so I just did it this way =)

  • @crazybadcuber oh kool, and nice outro music btw :)

  • it looks hard, and untill ill know whitch pice goes where i tis.

  • Oh boy, when i buy this i'm screwed. I use corners first method xD

  • @ColteeYT I'm sure if you took your time you'd be able to do it =) If not, this tutorial will teach you how to do it with another method.

  • @crazybadcuber Well i could do it no problem, what screws me over is that centers have two colors and corners only have one! I'm gonna get in trouble with this thing.

  • Do not sit on an axis cube, it will hurt you bum!

  • I think it's great how you actually explain where the pieces are moving instead of doing what most people do and just say to use a certain algorithm. Great tutorial.

  • thumbs up if ur hear cause redbk liked this video

  • Nice tutorial! I've had a lot of requests to make an Axis Cube tutorial. I'm glad you did it so I can send those people to you!

  • @redkb aha I'm able to respond to a message finally. Thanks for the kind words Kenneth!!

  • Just wondering, but why are you explaining this as if the person watching the video doesn't know how to solve a regular 3x3?

  • lucky # 7

  • sixth

  • second

  • YES I NEED THIS.

  • I like the warning at the start.

  • FIRST

lol i don't have an axis cube

  • first
