The Singer is the actual Actor Egbert Jan Weeber. The song is called "Stay" if I'm not mistaken... but I think you get a hard time finding it unless there's a soundtrack of the movie :D

i love the song stay, wish i could find it to put on my ipod!! and i got the movie from my library on a whim, it was great!
