I notice you play it in a lower neck position. I play it in the 12th fret position and seems to be easier. (boxed for the most part) But you do sound very good! My problem is I can't remember it note for note, I can play it, just can't remember it when it gets to the end parts. Than I start to just improvise! LOL can't read notation or tabs! Just play by ear.

Not for nothing but I have found out personally that the tabs online are pretty much useless if you want to play this song as close to Santana, I personally have learned this song by ear and played it close to the way he is playing it, add feeling while playing and you will find the song come together for you and you will say "screw the tabs". As you can see this guy is feeling the song from beginning to end and that is sweeter than heaven to play like that. I love playing this song, I get cons
