it is either u have a slow computer or something else is wrong... typically i have a brand new computer=fastest one on the market, and even lags too if i "LOAD" a scene i made... it makes it lag so bad... it doesnt lag if i load something that came with the prog. just ones ive made. so basically i have to make something again if i need it. This gives me extra practice =)

Make sure your desktop is set to 32 bit color. I have no idea why mine was even set to 16, but changing it smoothed everything out. Also, make sure your zoom is around 1 as you zoom out, everything moves more slowly.
