i think they were great for beginners and they put on a great show, however i feel that her head piece (which was beautiful by the way) took away from her great performance. As i watched her, I couldnt help but stare at her head piece the whole time. I would of loved for more people to have noticed her real dance skills as a beginner Tahitian dancer. Tiana is a great choreographer and she did an awesome job with this one! I wanna extend my culture to everyone who wants to learn it!!

well the pareos are just suppose to be a couple inches above your knees. Hers is more than that. That move she did probably did make her skirt shorter but i just think it should of been a couple inches above the knees in the very begging.

@baabyjaayy I do agree with u that to short pareo is not pretty looking, but it also has to do with both the fabric and how ur fa'arapu is...At least we didn't have to see her undies too much! I know that's the common ''rule'' on length, but I guess it's different from every halau, the same when it comes to names on the movements, and how u place ur feet! I don't believe it's inappropriate, bc they do were them short in Tahiti Nui too, I've seen shorter, but not pretty when u gotta see undies!
