LOL people got pwned and they're still like, "Oh, where's the book?" Funny though that even in 2008 all the data would be stored electronically rather than on books if we were trying to create a permanent record. The Wipers were slime, I don't know how it is they managed to conquer Earth ...

If someone "took out" the electricity or sent an EMP ( electromagnetic pulse)...all the info would be lost. We need the paper books and other things of the sort for backup.

Yeah, I love that AND the card catalog with actual cards. Oh, and the fact that they're using a monorail to evacuate people because it's so futuristic. lol.

Card catalogs are awesome. I wish I was around when they were. I did use one once at a library along time ago, but I think they also had computers. I don't even remember where it was. :(

They use microfilm today and they don't need to.
