hey, I love the way you play this and thanks a lot for the tutoral, who cares if its exactly like mayer or not it sounds great (or would if ur guitar was in tune =P) may i add though that the last 2 parts of the verse instead of using the same strumming pattern, try putting your index finger on the 7th of the g string so you have 8x879 (left being the top string etc) and strum it 8-8-7-9 real quick then the next one try (10)x078 and strum 10-0-7-8 with 4 fingers - i think that would help u out
