These games have shaped me to be who I am today. I cried throughout both one and two... They are just beautiful and and so deep in meaning, listening to this song has actually brought a few tears to my eyes. Kingdom hearts is a part of me. It's my other half. Ive played it for at least 10years noe, finished both games several times. Always cried. I love kingdom hearts from the bottom of my heart.

i still don't get why people think namine and roxas should be together, they only met like three times. It doesn't matter if sora and kairi are together, Roxas and xion have known each other for their entire lives
@mkmon98 It's because Xion and Roxas are technically speaking the same person. I know that's messed up, but that's how it is. Roxas is sora, or atleast his nobody. And Xion is Sora's memories. The best way you could put it would be to say that Roxas should end up with Sora's memories. That's still pretty wierd.
@MrUltimadude I know that, but still in re coded Roxas Xion and Namine are some of the that need to be saved by sora, so that might mean they will be separated and become whole in kh3.
no roxas has namine and Xion.....Xion was with him all the way through just like sora had goofy and donald, when you are split you have some of the other person Sora was with him!
I know alot of you are comparing Roxas's life to Sora's. and I can say they have it just about as equally bad, but I think Roxas has it a bit worse. Sure, Sora was taken from his friends and family, and forced on a quest to save the world, but at least he has Donald, Goofy and everyone else. Roxas has no one, his entire life was based on lies, and if you don't know the pain of being truely alone, it's the worst torture anyone can endure.

yea i mean people just dont understand...People say roxas has the saddest story in KH but they overlook sora's because he is optimistic most of the time, Sora was ripped away from his family and friends and forced to go on an adventure and if he failed the entire universe would be consumed by darkness. He has fought his best friend countless times, lost kairi twice, and lost his memory. If you can still smile after all that, you are a true hero

I could fight tears at a relatives funeral, but with Kingdom Hearts I break down... Play through 358 days completely, and listen to the song at the end screen and contemplate the story. You'll be surprised when tears come to your eyes.

I think that we can all agree on the fact that Roxas, Axel and Xion went through some unfair bulshit. But when you think about it every charicter has gone through similer pain. just look at how birth by sleep ended. Now that shit made me cry.

In english class were supposed to write a paper about a crime ,and I chose Roxas as my person to commit it. And it's true he has been through alot. Man, he lived a life like every other person, and then there's sora who always got the easy way.Roxas expirienced birth, life and death. For a heartless guy he sure has a heart.
Sora really did have it tough, people say he doesn't, but he did. he was always torn between duty, and friends. he never knew if he would see his home again. He probably even thought Riku turning evil was his fault. And he probably felt horrible knowing he couldn't do anything to save his best friend. But he went along to save a whole lot of people. He's not lucky, just a very good person who feels he should do what is right. so in a way he's had it tougher than Roxas. :(

@naevan1 i see your point in Ventus, he's got the saddest, but he was happy with his choice, and the his story is not over yet for ven. But Roxas's isn't. He brought his fate on himself, he left to find answers and got "beat up" along the way, but even though he found out he wasn't real, he still got to become whole, with the girl he's destined to be with. even in the game he tells sora "you make a good other" he technically said "hey im glad im you!" either way none of their stories are over.
@inonlydreams Ofcourse,but Ventus man...I think he has a sadder story. Its not that I dont like Roxas; On the contrary.Just I think Ventus had everything harsh for him since the start,same for Roxas,but in the end Roxas went where he belonged while Ventus is still sleeping and his 2 friends are both having huge troubles..At least they saved the world.

@inonlydreams i agree, completely. but roxas had the same thing sadly. but he really didnt even know what 'friends' were, he was lost for a good amount of time. he was torn between Axel and Xion and he also couldn't help Xion has Sora had to do Riku, but because Roxas didn't have a heart, it all had to be abit harder, he asked people for advice if he didn't know, but then Axel seemed bad so he could only follow that 'heart' he seemed to have and it only made it so he lost everything
wow, just because he's the good guy does not mean he's had it easy. And I didn't say Roxas had it either. But the fact that Roxas ends up where he's supposed to be, is a good ending for him. Sora's battle is still going on. And hey it does suck that he's a Nobody, But he becomes WHOLE. . :) And it even shows in the second game how much everything has taken a toll on Sora, like when he looks down, or gets that incredibly sad face. :/
@horo30 Well in the game it even says that everyone has darkness, sora included;except for the princesses and of course Venn. The reason sora is the keyblade master is because he never gives up. although he probably wanted to, it even shows how much he thought of giving up when in the moment in hollow bastion,where he says "maybe all we've done, maybe it was all for nothing." Don't get me wrong I feel terrible for Roxas, but he's fine now. He's whole :)
@inonlydreams at least he has a life.Roxas on the other hand had a miserable fate, things that he can't even change. It's already written what a Nobody will end up with. What's worse is he is not like other Nobodies. He does have a heart and the pain is even worse. His friends (Axel and Xion) dead/gone. At least in the end, Sora was reunited with his friends again and able to do anything at his will. Roxas on the other hand doesn't have that privilege. I feel bad for him.Just giving my 2 cents..
But Roxas does get a life, in the words of namine "he will become whole" ;) and it's Vens heart so maybe when Ven gets his heart back he'll know of Axel and Xion. :/ but again after that roxas wont have a heart, unless they find a loop hole, which i would like- because then Axel could come back! But quite the contrary, Roxas did change his fate. He didn't disappear, but I really like your opinion of roxas it gives me a feel of what everyone else thinks of the game ;D
@inonlydreams Yeah, kind of cool everybody has their own opinion of the game, and the most impressive thing is it's not just a game. It's somewhat modern literature to me...and that's what i think is the best.
oh yea it's become a part of myself, lol the game is just done so nicely, and it can mean much more than just fantasy :) it has so much depth to it, and it can teach lessons to people, something tells me i will make my kids in the future play this ;)

I don't know, really. I myself enjoy KH yaoi fandom and my favourite pairings are both boy/boy relationships. But that doesn't mean i'm going to throw that in your face and force you to agree with me. And I find myself frustrated everytime I see mindless friggin' fangirls get all orgasmic about it. It is true that Roxas gained his fame through the progress of the game, but it doesnt mean that just to see something that made it to be "the greatest" and say "hey im his fan". So basically this will probably be three comments (a lot to cover). In 358/2 days, Roxas is born in front of the old mansion. Xemnas finds him and brings him into the organization. Members of the organization teach Roxas all about nobodies, hearts, and stuff.
Xion is introduced as the fourteenth member. Roxas and her become friends, and since Axel was already Xion's friend, the three of them start hanging out. But Roxas passes out for, like, three months...

Blah blah blah filler, Xion quits the organization...
Roxas finds her, but she now looks identical to Sora. She's gone fricken nuts and tries to "absorb" (kill) Roxas, but he beats her in battle and absorbs her. I gotta say. After thinking about it and going through Roxas' story. There is absolutely no way Sora can ever beat Roxas in a fight. Sora never experienced real pain..he never watched his close friend die in his arms. He never went without someone to eat ice cream with. While he was prancing around with a bunch of disney characters Roxas was living his extremely short life, confused..alone and when he does find a friend, it all gets taken away. Sora has always been the lucky one..

He's had to fight for as long as he can remember, so don't take his nonchalant attitude lightly; he's been through a lot.

That's not fair. Sora lost his world in one night. Then, he's forced to save the world because the keyblade chose him. The disney characters he was prancing with was initially only with him because he holds the 'key'. While hobbling around the worlds looking for his friends, he finds one betrayed him, he has to die for the other one to live (him coming back to life is not the point). Then, an organization messes with his memories and costing him one year of life. Don't get me started on KH2

@xceis Actually, the story of Roxas is EXTREMELY sad.He was born without feelings, drafted into the Organization, betrayed by his best friends, and knocked unconscious because he wanted to meet the guy everyone was talking about (Sora). Then his memory was wiped, and he was placed in a fake world where he finds out that "he was never supposed to exist," and that all his friends are fake. He never had a real friend, family, or home, tell me thats not worth feeling sorry for -.- hes my fav char.

Life is so strange and wonderful and sad and horrible and beautiful and we take it for granite sometimes, but we have reminders how life is so short. I think that we can all agree on the fact that Roxas, Axel and Xion went through some unfair bulshit. But when you think about it every charicter has gone through similer pain. just look at how birth by sleep ended. Now that shit made me cry.

I think Sora has it harder, i mean he keeps on losing his friends(can't find them) and one of his best friends turn against him? Yeah. Plus he has to save all these damn people like aqua, terra, ventus and what not. He bears almost everything on his shoulders and at the same time he's watching his friends get hurt all them time unless u went through the whole story with donald and goofy getting hurt then I'l give sum props but yeah. His life is full of downs but the thing is he desires to go up

Sora really did have it tough, people say he doesn't, but he did. he was always torn between duty, and friends. he never knew if he would see his home again. He probably even thought Riku turning evil was his fault. And he probably felt horrible knowing he couldn't do anything to save his best friend. But he went along to save a whole lot of people. He's not lucky, just a very good person who feels he should do what is right. so in a way he's had it tougher than Roxas. :(

@naevan1 i see your point in Ventus, he's got the saddest, but he was happy with his choice, and the his story is not over yet for ven. But Roxas's isn't. He brought his fate on himself, he left to find answers and got "beat up" along the way, but even though he found out he wasn't real, he still got to become whole, with the girl he's destined to be with. even in the game he tells sora "you make a good other" he technically said "hey im glad im you!" either way none of their stories are over.

Its not that I dont like Roxas; On the contrary.Just I think Ventus had everything harsh for him since the start,same for Roxas,but in the end Roxas went where he belonged while Ventus is still sleeping and his 2 friends are both having huge troubles..At least they saved the world.

@inonlydreams i agree, completely. but roxas had the same thing sadly. but he really didnt even know what 'friends' were, he was lost for a good amount of time. he was torn between Axel and Xion and he also couldn't help Xion has Sora had to do Riku, but because Roxas didn't have a heart, it all had to be abit harder, he asked people for advice if he didn't know, but then Axel seemed bad so he could only follow that 'heart' he seemed to have and it only made it so he lost everything

wow, just because he's the good guy does not mean he's had it easy. And I didn't say Roxas had it either. But the fact that Roxas ends up where he's supposed to be, is a good ending for him. Sora's battle is still going on. And hey it does suck that he's a Nobody, But he becomes WHOLE. . :) And it even shows in the second game how much everything has taken a toll on Sora, like when he looks down, or gets that incredibly sad face. :/

Hes actually quite lucky, lucky that he gets to save people and what not without any actual consequence.

@horo30 Well in the game it even says that everyone has darkness, sora included;except for the princesses and of course Venn. The reason sora is the keyblade master is because he never gives up. although he probably wanted to, it even shows how much he thought of giving up when in the moment in hollow bastion,where he says "maybe all we've done, maybe it was all for nothing." Don't get me wrong I feel terrible for Roxas, but he's fine now. He's whole :)

@inonlydreams at least he has a life.Roxas on the other hand had a miserable fate, things that he can't even change. It's already written what a Nobody will end up with. What's worse is he is not like other Nobodies. He does have a heart and the pain is even worse. His friends (Axel and Xion) dead/gone. At least in the end, Sora was reunited with his friends again and able to do anything at his will. Roxas on the other hand doesn't have that privilege. I feel bad for him.Just giving my 2 cents..

But Roxas does get a life, in the words of namine "he will become whole" ;) and it's Vens heart so maybe when Ven gets his heart back he'll know of Axel and Xion. :/ but again after that roxas wont have a heart, unless they find a loop hole, which i would like- because then Axel could come back! But quite the contrary, Roxas did change his fate. He didn't disappear, but I really like your opinion of roxas it gives me a feel of what everyone else thinks of the game ;D

I don't know, really. I myself enjoy KH yaoi fandom and my favourite pairings are both boy/boy relationships. But that doesn't mean i'm going to throw that in your face and force you to agree with me. And I find myself frustrated everytime I see mindless friggin' fangirls get all orgasmic about it. They just make us look bad, and everyone assumes we're a bunch of 15-year-old brats that can't think of anything but sex between two guys. And really, it's not like that at ALL.

So basically this will probably be three comments (a lot to cover). In 358/2 days, Roxas is born in front of the old mansion. Xemnas finds him and brings him into the organization. Members of the organization teach Roxas all about nobodies, hearts, and stuff.
Xion is introduced as the fourteenth member. Roxas and her become friends, and since Axel was already Xion's friend, the three of them start hanging out. But Roxas passes out for, like, three months...

Ven is driven into following Terra against Eraqus' wishes by Vanitas, Xehanort's apprentice, and Aqua is sent to watch over Terra and bring Ven back to the Land of Departure. Blah blah blah filler.

Aqua shatters the χ-blade as Ven destroys Vanitas within his heart, though Ven's heart is sent into a deep sleep as a result.After learning that Ven will not awaken, Aqua brings his body to the ruins of Land of Departure, where she seals the world's keyhole and transforms it into Castle Oblivion to ensure Ven will not be disturbed.

Sora, having learned of their fates from King Mickey, decides to undertake another quest in order to save them. Done with this!!

I know it seems really pathetic, and maybe it actually is pathetic, but thinking of the end of 358/2 days is really depressing, what with Xion dying 'n all. I gotta say. After thinking about it and going through Roxas' story. There is absolutely no way Sora can ever beat Roxas in a fight. Sora never experienced real pain..he never watched his close friend die in his arms. He never went without someone to eat ice cream with. While he was prancing around with a bunch of disney characters Roxas was living his extremely short life, confused..alone and when he does find a friend, it all gets taken away. Sora has always been the lucky one..

@hairycrotch12 you say that like his life has been full of bliss. he watched his homeland be swallowed by darkness. his best friend defect to the evil. had to cross a multitude of worlds to save the girl he loved and then do it again to regain memories purposely taken from him. He's looked danger in the face time and time again; i.e. Ansem, Marluxia, Xemnas. He's had to fight for as long as he can remember, so don't take his nonchalant attitude lightly; he's been through a lot.

That's not fair. Sora lost his world in one night. Then, he's forced to save the world because the keyblade chose him. The disney characters he was prancing with was initially only with him because he holds the 'key'. While hobbling around the worlds looking for his friends, he finds one betrayed him, he has to die for the other one to live (him coming back to life is not the point). Then, an organization messes with his memories and costing him one year of life. Don't get me started on KH2

@xceis Actually, the story of Roxas is EXTREMELY sad.He was born without feelings, drafted into the Organization, betrayed by his best friends, and knocked unconscious because he wanted to meet the guy everyone was talking about (Sora). Then his memory was wiped, and he was placed in a fake world where he finds out that "he was never supposed to exist," and that all his friends are fake. He never had a real friend, family, or home, tell me thats not worth feeling sorry for -.- hes my fav char.

Roxas and I: We both question one thing. Why where we even brought into existence. Life is so strange and wonderful and sad and horrible and beautiful and we take it for granite sometimes, but we have reminders how life is so short.
