  • Thumbs up if you like cats.

  • I turned on this video any my birman cat looked out the window

  • Lol such a pretty kitty

  • I get this "reeeeeeeeeeeeeeowww" at 4:30 AM EVERY MORNING from my ragdoll who is identical to this cat! My Birman on the other hand.....not bothered! phewf.....

  • I'm thinking a lot about getting either a sacred birman or a ragdoll... I've only ever had a domestic housecat though, we had her for 14 years before she passed away to cat leukemia, (I miss her a lot) but now I feel ready to get a new one, so I was wondering what the characteristics is about a sacred birman, if they would do best as an indoor or outdoor cat? (our old cat was an outdoor cat, and would love to be able to let a cat out)

  • @Ann86dk Our birmans are definitely indoor cats. VERY loving and affectionate, almost always want to be around people, quite docile - easy to manage i.e. if they need a nail clipping they just sit there and let you do it. But not the most athletic guys for sure.

  • @operator911 Thanks for answering:) It was really helpful, I think I'm gonna get one when I can afford it, would they be ok on their own? Since I'm going to be working 8 hours pr. day, or do I need to get another cat to keep him/her company?

-Thought i posted a comment earlier, but I can't see it, so sorry if I asked this twice.

  • @Ann86dk i have a birman hes so affectionate and cute. they are best as indoor cats. mine only wants to go out coz we let him out by mistake a few times ^_~

  • i would just give him a cuddle for a while once im back home, thats what i did to my cats.

  • Nice place. Where is this?

  • Oh god, hug him for christ sake, this cat needs love now!

  • That cat is so sexy

  • LOL @ the people that just assume that you left the cat without a sitter. I'll go ahead and assume you had someone take care of him and give him love while you were gone. ;)

(Srsly, people? The reason he sounds like that is because he's excited that his human slaves are back home - cats know their people, and will recognize you a mile away just by the way you walk or the sound of your car.)

  • @jannichan I agree with you on that. My cats greet me at the door every time I come home.

  • Poor baby!

You really should have gotten two Birmans, they really do need company.

My birmans (brother and sister) cry when they can't find each other, only if it's for an hour or two!

They really need attention for at least 6 hours a day because they are so very social.

Even though they don't like cuddles very much, my birmans love to be around you and for you to pay them attention, all the time!

I would really recommend getting a ragdoll or a benga companion if you don't want a second birman.

  • @RA3NM so very true just listen to the poor fellow, he was so distressed.

my cat may be a moggy but she is very attention seeking in nature and needs to be in the same room as i am in, she suffers intense seperation anxiety if i leave her for more than 6 hours at a time.

  • My cat does this when we leave him for just a few hours.

He'll then demand that I hold him for comfort afterwards.

  • ahh true characteristic of this breed does dior greet you in the morning too lol? my chanel does that every morning no need for alarm clock shes up bright and early at the door !

  • Cat is like "where the hell were you?? I missed you!"

  • I know That the Shake is a cat's natural Behavior But It's So Funny!!

  • Dior: "You left me! Hate you! Love you! Hate you again! Love you!"

    heheheee~
