Opera Mini vs iPhone

Opera Mini 5 beta, is better than Safari clearly but I have a lg incite and compared too my iphone 2g it lags like hell but just the phone not Opera Mini, opera mini is one of the few reasons I like that phone but windows mobile 6.1 and the accelerometer lags like shit. Can you get opera mini 5 on a iphone? Mines jailbroke if that helps.

I think the point is that the iPhone is partially selling so good because people want to access the real Internet on their cell phones. People don't realize that they can do that on any kind of phone if they get the Opera Mobile. No need to buy a new phoneif you have Opera Mobile :)

actualy, i ditched my black berry even afterr installing opera because it was a mostly text based experiance.. altho i RELLY want opera on my iphone,its just a better browser hands down. the way opera saves the last page you wer on would help speed up surfing witch is nice when you have limited time in public(checking a price or item info before buying/genneral intrest)

I agreee, Opera and O-Mini are fab. They are not phones. The only phnes that give readable web on a VGA or better screen are the Nokia Communicator series and the iPhone. Loved my Communicator, now i ove my iPhone 3G.

In any case, how can so many dweebs be so ego invested that they care what anyone thinks of the tech in their pocket?

Now that iPhone costs $199, the argument is logically over anyway.

maybe Opera can do more stuff, but how much stuff do you need? i mean for what i've seen, Safari can do all that i need it to do, and more plus its a joy to use!

WTF yes it is. Opera Mini 4 is a free download BROWSER. Just like Firefox, but for mobile phones. It works on ALMOST most new mobiles including not so expensive mobiles such as Series 40 Nokia mobiles.

Sure be a retard and buy an Iphone. I will enjoy my N95, for the same price, but with a gazillion more features.
