Damnnn..this song never gets old. If you were born somewhere in the late 80's, you basically grew up hearing this song everywhere. I remember accompanying my mum and her friends to biswajoti to watch this movie. Such wonderful memories :)

money cannot make anyone passionate, it a feeling you discover yurself. and if you compare money, singers for nepalese song get far less than dhoti song. besides, asha bhonsle is the milestone of hindi music, so she doesn't need to sing nepali song for money. it's a passion but i don't think you understand .

......and as far as 'ACCENT" is concerned, it's not that hard for these indian singers to sing nepali song coz both nepali and hindi language are developed from "SANSKRIT" and thats why we have lots of common words.

no doubt that Sanskrit is mother languages of all the langauges but that doesnt mean ARABIC can sing nepalese songs,Bangladeshi cant sing nepali song in nepali accent, and i like asha bhosle ALAS not in nepali songs with dhoti accent

i really am not sure all these languages are developed from sanskrit. even though it is, arabic and bengoli are totally different frm nepali. can you even tell me 10 common words between arabic and nepali? i can give yu at least 100 common

first , i am very much impressed by the fact that yu know a little arai asked yu to bic too. but i asked yu to give me ten words regarding nepali and arabi . and i think i just found two word which were common. "aina and asal". rest are all hindi. and i never said arabc people cant sing hindi but they cant sing nepali coz we have nothin in common

Nepali Consonants and vowels are same with Hindi, and dear even u told me that arabic can sing hindi that means they can sing nepali too, a=b=c, ie arabic can sing hindi and hindi spoken can sing nepali, is too arabic can sing nepali song,

bangla langauge is more similar than hindi, if they try to sing they can sing but it wud be bangla accent

this is true this is terrific song but Asha bhosle sang it with Dhoti accent, there were heaps of nepalese female singer during that time and still and they want dhoti singer to spoil our language

i don't think her accent was dhoti but more of a typical nepalese women. And it really doesn't matter if the singer is nepali or dhoti , what matters is how much she is passionate about the song and the way she sang was brilliant. this song used to be very popular among girls back in 90's when i was at school.

The reason being i criticised this because no one can sing perfect in our own accessent, we can sing dhoti because we heard it from childhood and we watch dhoti gana and sometimes we do speak but dhoti they never , they can read only if someone write in DEVNAGARI character, though it is devnagari they can pronounced the same as we do
